@@forgot2wipe Cold air intake manufacturers typically dyno test their products with the hood open, thus sucking in cold air from outside the engine bay rather than warm air from inside the engine bay. This is not an issue if you are on the highway, but for a lot of guys sitting in traffic, running light to light, or sitting in the staging lanes at the track, their IAT’s go through the roof, and your cold air intake quickly turns into a hot air intake. The ECU sees 140° intake temps, pulls timing, and you lose power. That’s what he is referring to.

Its really not hard, but I will say getting the subframe back in and aligned after removal is A LOT easier with a lift. -Justin

I'd like to see this car with a stall only swap from its current mods and rerun....we would really love go see exactly what the stall alone nets you on an otherwise well setup car...you have done use a great service and that would be the cherry on top!!!

Great video as always! Congrats Justin! No matter what 11.33 is still fast NA just sayin. I’d be curious how much weight you added with all the new parts and heavier tires. Power to weight ratio ain’t no joke lol

Love it. Especially the honesty.

It might not be as fast as you wanted but it is consistent. I spoke to soon. 3 tenths quicker in a couple runs is a good day. You can see the light at the end of the tens tunnel.

Closed box air filter would be better.also if you applied full catback exhaust system,cobra jet or gt 350 intake manifold,larger throttle body,better injectors,mishimoto radiator and camshafts as well it would definitely run 10's

Getting an 11.3 in not the best DA with a few bolt ons and suspension work is great! These 10 speeds are amazing! Great to see that the high flow cats aren’t choking the exhaust flow like many people say.

I bet you if he deleted the cats he’d pick up another 2 or 3 tenths in the quarter. I had regular kooks high flow cats, and after ditching them I picked up substantial power. Granted that’s with boost, but even NA I bet he would pick up 15 to 20 HP.

My only questions is I see where you say minimal change in suspension at this power , would you recommend just getting the vertical links for wheel hop and then go more power and add the rest down the road or what suspension would you recommend suspension wise for around 500 horse I want my 60 ft time down without spending 6k haha

I would say to add a trans brake and a 2 step and I am pretty sure you'll drop that ET down a bit without having to add a bunch more power

What is the best tuner for an EcoBoost 2017 mustang? And how much would it go for roughly

I seen one run 11.3 with a intake and e85 tuned by alternative auto in Michigan oh and he was on stock suspension literally just e85 intake and drag pack full weight. At 900 DA

I am near maple grove and am currently buying a 19 gt would like to buy performance parts from you guys but would like to know if you can recommend any local shops for installs due to me not being comfortable doing it myself

I dont know why but I feel a solid one piece drive shaft is important to any build regardless of boost or not or even a v6 or 4 Eco. I think this is because when I got my 2012 v6, I seen a video on how the drive shaft broke. It always stuck with me.

Next time you run it can you use the in car 0-60 timer and let us know the times?

You should give prices. Also leaving the cats in would hurt you how much in hp?

Wait I’m confuzzled with the red car you did essentially the same bolt ons and e85 and made over 500 to the wheels , and yours made 460s on the e85 , does the 10 speed make that much drivetrain loss ?

Any reason to go with the high flow catted vs the off road mid pipe? Awesome build up! The more I see how these s550s perform the more I want to park one beside my 2013 s197! BTW nice choice going with Lund for the tune!

I have some cat deletes here at my desk that I'll probably end up switching over to eventually. I was trying to keep some of the rasp down but at this point screw it haha. -Justin

I've managed to run so far, a 11.3 at 123.XX. These things get up and go! At the time of my run, Tune and cat delete on a rear drag setup. Everything else, 100% completely stock.

What's with the cat deletes? Removing catalytic converters is illegal in all 50 states. Unless these cars are off-road only, why bother to even mention them?

Nice run for a basic bolt ons cars going good. About the same on my end with my 18gt Best I ran was a 11.1 down here in Florida Only difference I have vmp tune with steeda closed air box. But otherwise same bolt on as you guys...

Lund does not support the HP Tuners Digital transbrake like other tuners. (They have their reasons and are WAY smarter than I am so I take them at their word...lol). That being said there are other methods that I'm currently entertaining prior to getting the car back out. Thanks for watching man! -Justin

I Will be doing a coyote budget build in my channel. Part install, track results, part install, track results etc, etc. I think that you need more gear. A 4.10 maybe. Great content as always.

So what was the difference with the red car? Why did it make so much more power?

I can't complain about my 11.7@121 with a DA of 2500 on all weather goodyear 20's, 1.8 short time, Lund E85 and Steeda Closed CAI, 10r80

Looking into getting into a Lund flex tune. Is a intake worth it being that I’ve heard the factory 18 intake is already really good? Don’t plan on doing much more mods than the tune.

The factory intake is VERY good on these cars. I would start with the flex tune for now as that will be far more noticeable at the end of the day. -Justin

Change the intake manifold to the Cj manifold

2020 isn’t the start of a new decade. It’s 1-10 so we are in the 10th year of the decade. 2021 will be the new decade

That’s also a common misconception. For this we have to look at history and you can thank Dionysius and Venerable Bede who popularized the AD timeline that we live in. They never accounted for year 0 and instead started at 1AD. Our 21st century did not begin until January 1st 2001 because of this. Sorry

I'm not sure to start with suspension upgrades or tune first for my 2019. I want both but if I can keep the warranty longer would be good I guess.

Honestly, these things work remarkably well suspension wise with the stock components- outside of maybe a set of springs or vertical links. If you have access to E85 I would say a Flex tune would be the way to roll. -Justin

Justin those tires were also probably not hot enough initially to get that good grip out of the hole. Once you got a few runs in and tweaking the system that probably gave you the edge it needed.

I’m curious why you didn’t use the factory trans brake? I think that is the only thing Stangmode did differently. You have waaaay better axles so it shouldn’t be an issue. Stangmode did explain how to use this feature.

Hey Gr8white- thanks for watching. There isn't a 'factory' transbrake- its something that requires a specific tune and unfortunately Lund isn't a fan of this feature so therefore they do not offer it at this time. -Justin

Is there any way you can make the suspension soft so it squats and puts more weight on the rear for a launch for a better time?

We did set the Vikings in the rear for exactly that- however the issue isn't suspension its getting more RPM to get the car off the line faster. That's the big limiting factor as of now. Thanks for watching! -Justin
