St Patrick: Pilgrimage to Peace | Full Movie | Dr. Tim Campbell | Rev. Dr. Les Fairfield
Go beyond the legends and clichés to discover the real St. Patrick, a man whose life continues to call us to the peace of Christ.
St. Patrick may be the most popular, yet least-known, figure in Christian history. Each year revelers hold parties and parades to celebrate his day, yet the average person likely has no idea who Patrick of Ireland truly was. St. Patrick: Pilgrimage to Peace unearths the true story of this fifth-century Christian who was brought to Ireland as a slave, where he labored six long years before finally escaping. But after returning home, Patrick shocked his contemporaries by voluntarily returning to the place of his enslavement in order to bring the gospel message to the Irish people. Go beyond the legends and clichés to discover the real St. Patrick, a man whose life continues to call us to the peace of Christ.
Director: Dave Peters, Kathi Peters
Starring: Dr. Tim Campbell, Rev. Dr. Les Fairfield, Dr. Jenny Butler

I'm sitting here, enjoying this documentary on St. Patrick, while eating corned beef and cabbage, and drinking Guinness Stout. God is good! Thank God for St. Patrick!

I am not Catholic, but I have much respect for this man. I believe he transcended all religions. He was a true man of God. I believe if more people knew who St. Patrick was then St. Patrick's Day would be observed in a much more honorable way. I too, use to see it as a day of drinking "green beer", and attending crazy parties. I certainly do not feel that way now. I feel ashamed, but I was ignorant of who this great man was. I intend to share this message with my friends and family, so they too will hopefully see St. Patrick's Day in a different way, and give this man the respect he deserves. This documentary was an excellent presentation. Thank you for sharing.

Forget the metaphor, how can pagans be associated with the “Devil” when they existed before the advent of the Abrahamics?

@@maestoso47 You are correct about Pagans being around before Abraham. After the fall of man with the city of Cain named Enoch with the people already turning on THE God and creating their own gods they themselves created FOR themselves in rebellion to THE one True God. From creation to Abraham it was a little over 2,000 years, and a little over 350 years from The Flood (Noah) to Abraham. During that time stretch people just started doing the same thing again.... as in making up their own gods turning away from the one True God. You're looking at it all wrong, that and The Devil was created a little before the creation of the world, and since God said everything was very good that indicates that The Satan wasn't ALWAYS The Satan (which the title name means "One who opposes, or Adversary), rather he was just another angel. The "title" of The Satan was given to him after he tempted Eve. The term "Devil" comes from the Greek term "diablos", and incidentally that term used to describe him came much later being that Greek language from Greece which in case neither one was around yet. It's a term for The Satan (Which is his title in Hebrew) from a language created much later in time (diablos/Greek Language). So in the end you misunderstand. Hope this helps....

One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me." He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

We all humans have sinned, even for lying we will be burned in hell for eternity, but Jesus Christ the LORD the son God that is God took on flesh become fully human and took the punishment of our sins and died and took the wrath of God on our place He died so that we could live and He rose up from the dead won over death so that if we believe in Him, repent, live for Him we might have eternal life

It is interesting how they ignore that St. Patrick was a Catholic Bishop authorised by the Pope. He waited many years for approval for his mission to Ireland. He was funded from Britain and they complained necessitating his writing of the Confessio. Thank God for St Patrick and his immense faith and absolute obedience to the Pope and the will of God. St. Patrick please pray for us.

Isn't it painfully ironic that the accounts of St. Patrick's life written within the 1st century or 2 of the saints death are roundly dismissed as legend largely written for political reasons by 21st century 'experts' who then themselves start speculating on the life of St. Patrick without any evidence to prove their claims. For example, 'married monks' living OUTSIDE the monastery who grew the food - would these be better described as lay people who happened to live becide the monastery. St. Patrick himself speaks of 'monks and VIRGINS for Christ'. Also the serpent (the most dangerous snake) was the chief symbol of the druidic religion, so in that sense St. Patrick did banish these snakes from Ireland

Mostly from the protestant perspective with pagan thrown in. Typical. Look at all those ruins. Make they could have put in the history of the destruction of the churches. No, cannot do it. It reveals too much.

Roman catholicism is a false religion that denies grace and preaches a self righteous gospel of works. A person is saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Our performance doesn't save us. It is by accepting his finished work.
