Ойын-сауық

On July 25, 2022, St. Louis Missouri would experience a freaking 1 in 1000 years flash flooding event. During the morning hours the metropolitan area would get tons of heavy rain fall causing severe flash flooding city wide across St. Charles county, central St. Louis county, and northern St. Louis county. Sewers, creeks, ponds, and low level areas would also experience extreme flash flooding as well. Numerous drivers across the city would be stranded in their cars resulting in tons of water rescues across the city throughout the entire day. Hundreds of homes across the city would experience devastating flooding in their basements due to the clogged water drains and sewers resulting in really bad water damage. Sadly 1 person in University City, (U-City), would lose their life in the floods from drowning being stranded in their car when flood waters submerged their entire vehicle. An animal shelter in St. Peters would also lose numerous baby puppies due to high flood waters as well. Power in Florissant would also get knocked out during the day when flood waters would damage a power grid. This would also be St. Louis very first flash flood emergency to ever be issued in the metropolitan area. This event also shattered a 100 year single day rainfall record as well.
