In SSBU and SSF2, the character I want the most, no matter what you argue, is Eevee. I think it'd be super fun, and since Eevee has basically become a Pokemon mascot (just like Pikachu and the legendary Pokemon from the region) it'd make sense for both SSBU and SSF2.

I have a few ideas: 1. The Heavy (Team Fortress 2) - A heavyweight that focuses on zoning. 2. Karate Joe (Rhythm Heaven) - A unlikely pick, but if he does end up as a character, I think he would have a very unique move set. 3. Jin Kazama / Heihachi Mishima (Tekken) - I put two different characters here since these two are probably the most recognizable out of the Tekken series. They would definitely have a unique moveset. Most of the characters above are unrealistic. But if I’m being realistic here, then Ganondorf would definitely be my pick.

I think a good idea for Lucina and Roy would be to have them like in Crusade, where you they're all Marth in a way, but with different hitboxes

Even tho anime characters aren't gonna be added anymore... probably (good thing by the way), I'd think Luffy (or any of the four) could have been replaced by another anime character, I would have said Atem/Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. (Welp, I've seen the part where you said he could be a good assist trophy, but just to say he's a fighter in both Jump force and a DS jump game, and he's pretty cool I think) But anyway I don't know how much character they'll make but if I had my personal requests, it'd be: -Warrior of Light or any other character from before FF7 (Protagonist or not) -Another KH character (Either Ventus, Riku, Aqua or Kairi) -another ref from the tales of games (I don't know who nor why but I'd like to see other characters from this series of games) -Either Silver (even tho he's an assist trophy), Amy (why not? I mean we have Tails) or Knuckes. And that's all I can think of anyway :)

6:33 instead of putting the traditional fire emblem characters... you could choose other characters such as Hector(axe, armour) or Ephraim (lance), Leif, Eliwood, Lyn, alm, seliph, Erika (sword), Micaih (tomb), etc there are many besides the one in ultimate. I think instead of Roy it should be Leif and seliph, or Micaih instead of Robin

Dr. Eggman could have a really interesting move set with his egg walker, along with being a villain and heavyweight.

I can see deku neutral special being Delaware smash his side special can be detroit smash which would work like ikes side special but instead it's a punch his up special can be Manchester smash which would work like mii brawlers up special and his down special could be full cowling which would work like shulks arts all cramed into one but without increased defences and the longer you hold your down special the more powerful it gets also his Delaware and Detroit smash make him take 2% whenever he uses them and his final smash can be him hitting you with 100% smash here are some other stuff (his franchise icon can be all mights face and his alternate colors can be based off bakugo,ochaco,iida,todoroki all might,tomura shigaraki,and his 1st costume design his taunts can have him right down notes on his note book while muttering,his second one can be him making an all might impression,and his 3rd can be him fixing glove glove,his victory animation can have him raise his fist up in the air and say "PLUS ULTRA"!

when you say they should add more fire emblem characters, my personal picks would be: -Anna (works as a fun troll character) -Caede (If I remember correctly Sakurai considered her at one point long ago but she was cut, probably because how would you work a Pegasus Knight in a fighting game) -Camus (interested to see who they'd make a cavalier/paladin would work.) -Tiki (interested how they'd go about the Manateke transformation)

Well I don't think there's anything wrong with being simple, especially when none of SSF2's characters are very complex to begin with. We don't really have an Ike-esque heavy swordsman in the game and I like the twist Ichigo puts on it.

@@crazynaut223 I suppose simple is the wrong word for it. a simple moveset does fit the character, but I think there's potential that the devs really missed out on, like a chargeable neutral special. plus, some moves just don't make sense, like their down special. where does it even come from?

I think he does something similar in the second episode of Bleach and in a few Bleach DS games, but I'm pretty sure the down special is more just something that makes sense for someone with a big ol' sword to do. And hey, Cloud did it in Smash a few years later so they were onto something. The anime characters in general are less of "cram in tons of unique moves from the source material" and more of "expand as much as possible on this one core concept".
