Gents. Montgomery played CDM Sheffield United for many years, coached Central Coast Mariners to ALeague title using a very good ange styled system and made very smart recruitment choices. He is switched on. Hibs were to impatient.

You’ve clearly never watched him. He is a perfect fit. He is young and is improving every season. He has been doing well in the Copa.

Monti and Sergio are brilliant coaches and especially fantastic at youth development - Monti was a player for Sheffield United for 12 years before moving to Australia as a player before getting into coaching while Sergio is Portuguese and worked as a coach for clubs such as Benfica.

If he plays like he has for Canada then it seems like a questionable move. Yes, he had a nice finish last night, but has also missed countless chances prior to that.

Spurs build us up and let us down. Will wait for the signings to be done before I get excited

• Good luck on the new coaching staff. • Wished we can just give Djed a chance but we need him out soon. • 15-20m just send the money now for Lo Celso. • Hincapie would be a sick signing for us. I would love to see us go from Reguilon, Sess, Davies, Rodon, Tanganga, Spence & Emerson to Alfie Doughty, Hincapie & Vanderson. • Calafiori is going to Juve • If we can't get Jonathan David I don't mind cause I would really like to see Alejo Veliz get a chance. • I don't want Bowen at all, Jack Clarke is so clear. • Soonsop-Bell is definitely going to shine soon. I want to see 1 year in League 1 then 2 Championship loans.

David would be the perfect signing. Extremely undervalued for his production

hincapie would fit in this spurs team like a glove but if it even could happen he would bring romero catastrophe red cards are due other than that he can play quality football just like romero

Another Canadian player to have a look at is Jacob Shaffelberg who has been starring on the left wing at Cops America. He was the set up man for Jonathan David goal you referred to in the game against Peru.

Should b in starting lineup with Nicky vdv ,Dragusin and Ramaro with that 2 youngster spurs will put out on lone again ,on the bench ,training week in and out with the firsteam to get use to the Ange system.

Lo celso transfer fee and salary is going to be an issue to move him on. It can't be another loan deal as he is on his last year. The squad is still huge getting rid of players is difficult

Dragusin plays RCB but we needed to use him on the left last season.

no set piece coach no shocks there

we have a record of buying players and then not using them so these players will know that!

Inverted left back (which is ideal for him) or left centre back (VDV will get injuries with his acceleration style of defending… always pushing hamstrings)

@@carlito7608 If as a club Spurs want to be competitive they need strength in depth and a tactical variation over a long season. It doesn’t necessarily mean Calafiori will be a bench player. He has the quality to compete with VDV and is actually more suited in his style to play inverted LB than Udogie (who has a serious injury anyway at the moment and will take time to recover fitness) Either way the Ange style inverted full back position is probably the most testing physical and mentally enduring position, it’s effective importance needs to be covered with quality in depth.
