Great video as always. Funny story - I was in Greece last week and got chatting to Matt Wells. I spoke to him for about 45 minutes and he was so kind and generous with his time. And the funny thing was- I asked him if he knew who the new assistant coach was going to be! He smiled and said he did know but couldn't say. And just finally I did name drop yourself Ali and he smiled at your name. I don't know what that means but I'm sure it's a positive thing 😊. No one else I've told seems that bothered but I thought it was very cool!

Hi Ali. Love the videos, they’re my go Spurs content. I’m also a Central Coast Mariners season ticket holder, and I’m very happy that Monty and Serg are in the coaching staff. While there are many traits that will help them as future managers, the key one that will help Spurs is their player development. They turned multiple players into Australia national team players and developed a club that were sitting last for multiple seasons into championship winners. If you want to look more into them, I recommend the A-League All Access series on KZread, in particular the final three videos of the first series

Hi Ali - - - An observation for you, please stay with me: For Father's Day my son bought me the Spurs publication "61", I am so happy, because I have been supporting our Glorious Boys since 1958 when I was 8 years old and was privileged to watch them first hand at the old "Lane" back in the day. OK, I'm now at the point of my comment - I read the section about Bill Nick, and of course, I knew quite a lot about him anyway, but here is the thing, and it's about Bill's philosophy towards the game. I can see similarities between his thinking and Ange, yes, a tall order, but if you take the time to look back on Bill NIck's view, you might just come up with the same conclusions as me - and they are that Ange wants to play in the same way as Bill. End of sermon.

Hi Ali,i live in Perth and follow the A league, Montgomery took a central coast mariners team who were tipped to finish down the bottom and finished top and won the grand final, central coast had several young Aussie players who after that season moved abroad, had only broke into the first team that season, he also resurrected the career of Jason Cummings who signed from Scotland and nobody would touch, he’s rated very very highly in Australia. Fantastic as always. Glad you recognise Ange's past working with youngsters. The future's looking bright.

I like how Ange picks guys he will trust and understand how he wants them to play. He picks guys who are about football and only football. Think they Striker Spurs buy has to fit the style of Spurs and a player who is there for the team and puts the team first.

Love your work Ali. I wouldn’t say Nick Montgomery is old at 41. He was a great midfield player for the Mariners and which only finished a few years back. He then went in to the coaching side and was brilliant. I’ve met him a couple of times and he’s a great bloke. Central Coast Mariners are my local club. I hope he does well with us at Spurs.

My local team is Hibs so knowing more about Montgomery though he failed at hibs he wasn't properly backed nor given the time but DOES however share the same philosophy and ideas as Ange Cheers for the video!

Very interesting. Especially the multi-segment training sessions. On first glance it would seem to be a very disjointed method but on second look it would seem to mimic the changing state of a match pretty well. I guess it would instil in the players a sense of being effectively able to read the changing situation over 90mins.

Fills like Christmas. With 2 videos in 1 days . Ur spoiling us . So so interesting. Great video coys

Cheers again Ali ! I was wondering if you could do a video finding out the progression / pathway plans for our youth players please. Who is deemed nearer to the first team between Devine and Donley? Dorrington, Phillips, Vuskovic; who gets that 5th 1st team Men's spot for European games? Has Moore usurped Santiago for that Left Winger spot? Is Veliz not in contention for 1st team football at Spurs next season, and how does Lo Celso's departure affect his progression? Could go through loads of the youth players but feel like these answers would really inform the clubs transfer policy for targets too

Agree and excited for all of it….except. No set piece coach. I really think in today’s game it needs to be done because so many defenders are learning more about ball playing than defending in the air. We were pathetic defending corners last season. Something needs to change.

Wow another video, Alasdair you are spoiling us but thanks for lifting our moods after those dull England displays. Best of luck to Matt Wells and the two new guys. It was very useful that you filled us in with the backgrounds of Montgomery and Raimundo (I keep wanting to call him the Great Raimundo like the character in an Only Fools and Horses episode!). Yet another wonder kid signed. Sounds exciting but it is getting hard to keep track on all of them as they progress through the seasons and the various academy sides. Luckily, we have you to guide us in that respect.

Hi Alasdair love the videos as always . I really would like an update on a no 6 in regards to who are the targets or who u think should be. I think it’s more important than Eze or striker . Also I like Lang keeping our interest secret however I really rate Paratici eye for a player also I think we done more buis with Italian clubs then any other team in a long time we signed 5 over the last few yrs when did a EPLa epl club make such in in roads and how important is Paratici contacts

So many coaches now at Spurs! In Billy Nicholson's day all I remember was his assistant Eddie Bailey and the owners. Does anyone know who else was in a managing or coaching capacity at the club in that era?

I think he should put on right data rather than speculation on of the lies he brought on was abt Guarrsy nusa and victor orban he said they're coming to Tottenham. I would have thought so, depending on fitness.

Nick Montgomery was overwhemingly the fans choice at Melbourne Victory and apparently turned theclub down... It seems to work under Ange, Mile reportedly was also sounded out.

With us needing to add more English players to fulfil squad requirements, other than Eze, who do you see us signing? We've distanced from Toney, Solanke is too much money for a player that has had one good season, Gallagher I suspect will sign a new deal with Chelsea. I'd like Archie Gray or Walker-Peters too replace Royal (should he leave) but can't see too many other options that are realistic.
