Was just about to post the same thing. SV leaps and bounds better. VB was stabbing the throttle all the way from his start box. Sure, these engines are torquey, but as MB said in commentary, the driver is in charge of the torque demand. Bit like 'that famous drift anime' where the fella has to learn there are more than 6 foot positions on the go pedal.

You can actually HEAR Seb's experience in these conditions. Just compare the engine sound from Seb and Bottas on the start. Bottas -> massive wheelspin Seb -> smooth start by managing the throttle

I also liked how Ocon launched from a 2nd gear. I think it's a valid option, given the track conditions. But Bottas looked like it was his first time on a wet track. So much wheelspin. It's a miracle he didn't spin out right at the starting line.

Aufar Abrari Wow you’re right. Both Mercs, Both Red Bull’s, Both Ferrari’s, Both RPs and Both Mclaren’s were on the podium this year, along with one AT and one Renault. That’s mad. The Turkish Grand Prix showed people the following truth, that is the truth of the racers' abilities, not the cars.

Perez is so tactical and cool headed... When at the very end of the race Leclerc pulled that overtake with a couple of turns remaining, he still maintained his line and didn't chase Charles. That's what having experience is all about. The guy deserves a seat next season. Period.
