This is only new for this year and not available for the US. They still have a ways to go, but it’s a step in the right direction. The US options are littered with advertisements, making it hard to watch at times.

I love watching the racing, but I really wish you guys would turn up the mix on the car/engine sounds. The WEC channel has a great balance with the audio mix and it makes it a much more immersive watching experience.

So much better this year not having to wait for the races to make their way onto YT a few weeks after the event, kept inadvertently catching the results b4 getting to watch the races last year, not so this year, THANKS IMSA!

Shay Adam is amazing in the pitlsne. Never misses a single thing and is quickfire with everything happening around her.

Just so IMSA is aware, people subscribed to this youtube channel don't get a new video notification when this is enabled to be viewed in United States on Thursday. It appears to us as a 3 day old video with no notification it was posted.

I like to compliment companies when they do do something good and streaming these races to KZread is a very good thing. I can never watch them as they come out but for the thousands of others this is good keep doing it we love it.

I love IMSA! Thank You for adding the info graphics in the upper left hand corner. I really appreciate it. It really helps us understand what these machines and drivers are going through.

Having grown up at this facility, IMSA was, and still is one of my favorite events to grace the track. Another victory for ROGER PENSKI.

Advantage of live streams who are live is, you can watch the race the day after the race, if you cant watch it like me, because i have to go to work very early (living in switzerland)

The L-shaped piece of body work came off of the Porsche 963, got dragged by the Porsche 911 GT3 R and ended up on rear seat of a Porsche Cayenne S....Porsche is really top secret about their parts😂

Finally an IMSA race without a yellow every 30 minutes !!! And see, no need to gather the field artificially to get a thrilling race. Great battles, overtakes, strategy. And errors are paid cash. The best wins, not the luckiest.

Amazing race! I love the way the mustang looks and sounds. I hope that with some more experience with the car it can be competitive next season

Those IMSA rules are absurd. 20 minutes of Safety Car that reshuffles the field and breaks the flow of the race for a simple debris on the track that could've been solved by one quick lap of FCY.

Can't imagine if IMSA GTP and WEC Hypercar racing on the same track.. It's gonna be wild🔥

GTP = hypercar. They just use a different name for the class. Both are part of the LMdH rules.

Great race, as ever. Not sure about some of the directing of the lead battle (I can understand when there's another lead battle, but not when it switches to a GTD running on its own)!

The scoring tree with classes color coded but reflecting the race order on the road much better than the tree split according to classes. Especially for the GTD the one split according to classes is rather confusing.

How did the #6 not get a penalty for overtaking under SC? IMSA is handing out so many stupid penalties for the slightest mistakes, especially when GTD am drivers to small mistakes, but overtaking under SC seems to be allowed now? That's actually insane...

I do not see why IMSA goes out of its way to be as confusing as possible. The graphics do not tell you the make of the cars, which will make it infinitely easy to follow if they did. Instead, there is a graphic that tells you what class despite it being color-coded. LOL. Plus, GTP, GTD Pro, GTD,... really. Just call what they are, Pro. Prototype, anything really. More importantly, put the make in graphic.

Are track limits not a thing in IMSA?

Never understand why they called it gtd and it are gt3 cars...

GTD was the lowest class when the IMSA SportsCar Championship was declared (which used GT3 cars and others like the porsche 911 north america), alongside GTLM (LM GTE cars) now GTLM doesn't exist, while GTD used solely GT3 cars from 2016, and in 2022 GTD Pro replaced GTLM

Classic strategic race for Penske No.6. They took track position by short replenishment at 1st FCY, and flying 2nd stint with lighter tank (Of course bit of luck of not deploying FCY).

The abuse of track limits on turn 5 is ridiculous. Laguna Seca should dig out some of that pavement and bring the gravel closer to the curb.

For anyone wondering the management of laguna seca tried to save money by paving the track with cheap matieral several deaths occurred and many crashes.

people think BOP is trying to make all the cars in a class equal. it isnt. BOP gets cars within plus or minus % of the median. so certain cars/teams are allowed to be +5% better than median and other cars are intentionally put at -5%. so that means the favored cars/teams have a +10% performance advantage over the unfavored cars/teams. not quite WWE level of fixing but IMSA is in no way a legitimate competition.

The shot of the cars coming down the Corkscrew looks exactly like a Gran Turismo replay!
