    How well an you see through the goggles through the mesh. Can you see in low light areas

    You can actually see a little better when there's less light, but if it's too dark you won't be able to see very well. (I'm saying this because my mesh is hard to see through, but with any normal mesh this shouldn't be a problem)

    Wow! Awesome dude! All I did was get some black swimming goggles, cut out some pieces of paper (and shaped them like the lenses) and sticked them on with glue tack, It's not the best but it's what I could do. Awesome DIY like I said before, I subbed.

    I actually bought the Lincoln electric welding cup goggles from lowes and did what you said except it came with a black lens so I sandwitched every thing together

    If you mean the shutters, they’re made from a plastic binder. If you mean the actual goggles, they’re welding goggles from Amazon

    Lol i'm currently making my goggles and I had the same swimming trunks idea! I'm designing my goggles to move up and down depending on my mouths position. Also instead of using plastic i'm going to use metal.

    Dude, those look incredible I made a pair similar but instead of welding goggles I used those gum canister lids but I gotta ask do yours fog up? If so have you found any way to prevent that?

    you should sand them and drybrush them then hot glue the wire down and paint the hot glue silver to add a soughtered effect.

    How come you layered it so that the glass is closest to the eye? Why not put the plastic closest to the eye, then the mesh, then the glass? Just asking, hahah. Great video though, such a good help.

    SpizzleLep That could have worked, too, but it helps the mesh to lay right and flush when you have the weight of the glass on it while screwing it together

    Buzz Make one really good one by sketching the shape with a pencil, then trace it onto another circle so you have two, but make sure they’re opposite.

    darkgreetingx I don't, sorry. I wish I would have filmed the process. All I did was place two pieces of fabric together, trace a shape onto one side, pin the two pieces together, sew along the line I traced, then turn it inside out

    darkgreetingx Get some red material that you can breathe in but is thick enough so it will hide your features (like lips or hair). Red sweatshirt material will work, or you could use a red blanket like the one I used.

    Nefarious Fraze I traced one of the glass circles that comes with the welding goggles onto black plastic from a binder, then I cut out that circle. I used a pencil to sketch the shape I wanted to cut out, then I cut it out with scissors. I did the same thing again but traced the one I already had to get a consistent shape. Then I cut out a third circle from the plastic and sketched two identical crescent shapes, one for each lens.
