    Boiling the pepper in its own juice keeps the nutrients intact but when you boil with water like you did … most of the nutrients is gone with the water . Also you can use the water you boiled the pepper as water for the stew base.. instead of throwing away.

    Well-done Baci, we cook the same way, l don't use salt to cook, someone said salt is better....hahaha...the experts know better.     You don't have to boil it with water, boil it by itself and it'll cook with its own juice and will not reduce the taste

    I’m not sure I see what the issue is? I didn’t use the water to cook . Sieved my tomatoes out and blended it . When you want to make yours please feel free to use whateva water level you are comfortable with
