But I watched this tutorial and followed it in faith😂. Thank you for not letting them return my bride price. First time I’m glad to look like a liar.

It's so funny I was once married to a Nigerian man and he was so amazed that I could cook Nigerian food so well and it's funny because I'm from the south and so much of the food is the same and I had to explain to him that when our ancestors were bought over that we had to adapt to the ingredients here so things are pretty much the same and all of his friends and when I first met his family and cooked for them they thought he had married an African woman instead of African American it was truly an experience I enjoyed your video keep doing what you do blessings LaLa Okeke-A

I'm African-American. My grandmother (who came from the southern USA) used to make a dish called, "Red Rice" that closely resembles Jollof Rice; even down to many of the ingredients. I was well into my 50s the first time I had opportunity to taste Jollof rice and fell in love with it because it carries the culinary memories of my grandma's cooking!

Well-done Sisi...ever since I learnt the hack of frying the seasoning first in oil from you, I don't miss it and it always makes a difference. Can I like the video a million times?

I a couple of videos but yours is just so descriptive enough. at the end of the day. wow, as if i have never cook in my life before. the chicken stew and the jollof is so delicious.

Aunty I am watching from Canada… I added the type into the chicken and it’s the best ring I have ever done cooking. Thank you so much.

This is so fascinating!! I’d burn down my whole backyard trying to cook like this. 🤣🤣 But I wouldn’t mind trying a smaller version indoors for me and my hubby. 🇺🇸

I am a lover of rice and have been exploring various rice dishes from around the world for a few years now. So far I have tried Chicken Biryani (from India), various Risottos (from Italy), Black Beans and Rice (Cuban recipe), and Paella (from Spain). Now I MUST try Bibimbap (from Korea); and Jollof Rice (YOUR Nigerian recipe!)
