Fun fact you see the elephants in background the reason why the elephant trunks are upwards is because it’s for good luck . And if you ever go to an Indian Restaurants and see elephant statues with their trunks up you know why. Also you didn’t mention how the song has a Bollywood flair to it.

Also elephants must be placed with their back facing the door or that so it won't show the luck to exit from the door.

Gordon Ramsay is funny too watch anything with his family. He’s such a sweetheart to those to who are actually trying hard to do things well and he’s tough in those who think that they can get away with things that can actually ruin them as chiefs. Such one time he (over the top probably because tv made him do it in contract...) got really angry at ‘professional’ chiefs making a steak dish. Why? Because their task was to make like 10 Medium cooked steaks. And only two were medium the rest were too well done or undercooked. And saying that the quality is fine is just terrible to think and those chiefs need a wake up call. But he’s such a goofball and loving parent and he’s so gentle with kids because he wants them to enjoy cooking even if it’s a hobby. Aka Gordon Ramsay is awesome 😎

Silver Quill mentioned in his review that it was Thomas Jefferson who said “In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.” That about sums up the balance here. They should have their own style and bring their own culture to Canterlot, but should be willing to have things on the menu that ponies are already used to, as well as variations on existing themes. Also, as Silver Quill mentioned, the decor might need to be toned down a bit so it doesn't overwhelm the guests.

Look, I love our hilarious hippogriff, but I can't really agree with his take away here. I feel like the only reason the 'style' was defined like it was was Zesty Gourmand. Kind of makes it feel less like a 'matter of style' and more 'we're just all listening to this one particular person'.

8:37 THIS. THIS! THIS IS WHAT I LIKE OF THIS REVIEW HERE! As a gamer I love playing games such as Mario, Kirby, Zelda (Yeah I'm a Nintendo fan) Sonic, Monkey Ball, and a few Play Station games. However, when someone introduces me to a new game that isn't from a company that I know (mostly indie developers) I tend to hold myself back. However, my friends convince me to give it a shot. Games such as A Hat in Time, Rivals of Aether, Shantae Half Genie Hero, and Cuphead has REALLY impressed me.

I think you mistake Japan for China. while KFC is a chrismas darling, and over all well-liked "fast food" place in Japan; in China, it is a weird abomination of what they think actual "american" food is. adding on the fact KFC are generally a touch more expensive than normal fast food (a normal meal from McDonald and such usually cost ~$10 [or 30-40RMB], whereas KFC are usually between ~$15-20[50-80RMB] ), KFC is not a very well received fast-food chain in China.

One thing that I can always count on Josh Scorcher and his comment section is that there is always a conversation to be had somewhere. It isn't just full of people agreeing with him which is boring. I like seeing people disagree so that you can get more than one side of an argument. I can think of a few content creators whose fans take their content creators words as law and that is both boring and kinda scary that people are just willing to go along with someones words without giving them much thought.

One thing that I liked about Ratatouille was that while having a rat as a chef is an interesting story on it's own, I liked the critic character who's name escapes me. He wasn't a bad guy, he was just a bit of a cynic and a wee bit harsh. But he lightened up after eating food that was made by Remy that reminded him of his mother's cooking. I've certainly been to my fair share of restaurants even though I'm not much of a restaurant goer and there are plenty of interesting restaurants where I live. There's this one restaurant that has a bunch of railroad related decor with these really good sandwiches. I've never been a fan of the ritzy looking place, I prefer the more colorful place.

It would've been really interesting if the Gordon Ramsey pony stepped in during the ending scene and laid down the law with Zesty. Revealing that he had come to Canterlot to gain some insight on the local food, only to be dissatisfied with finding all of the other restaurants doing the same thing. While also bringing up a point how the tasty treat would've actually been going under due to how their location, a dead end alley with no other stores and poor advertisement would kill any business.

I just do not get the constant complaints about 'reusing animation' in songs. You don't complain that a song has a chorus that repeats word for word, do you? My only issue with the song number was they ddn't go full Bollywood with it and turn it into a massive spectacle in the streets. Oh, and the ghost pepper laced snail bit... laughed so hard I woke my roommate up (which was good timing as it was just about time to do that anyway.) Also, can we have the lovely deer stick around more? She's so gorgeous.

As an artist trying to market herself, I agree there is a constant give the audience what they want vs what you want to draw. My sisters and mom both advise the former and go for popular memes or art trending on the net whereas I would rather do the later, seeing as I don't really follow trends that much and I'm not a big user of memes. But I do agree that in marketing you have to be able to compromise on both sides.

Fun fact about the Michelin Star System: if youre confused about why a tyre company rates restaurants, it was originally a ploy to drive up tyre sales by encouraging people to drive more. The original meanings of the stars were that 1 star means the restaurant is worth visiting if its en-route to wherever youre driving. 2 stars means it's worth taking a detour from your destination to go there, and 3 stars means it's worth driving specifically to go there.

I have two gripes with this episode. 1. The fact Zesty herself said she won't rate a restaurant if it's empty, yet no one is willing to eat at one *until* she's rated it. 2. The fact a freaking food critic is so against trying different dishes that she forces *every restaurant in the city* to conform to her incredibly narrow tastes, or they're doomed to fail. Seriously, if you're so picky you won't eat more than one style of cuisine, then you have no business being part of the food world. Other than that, though, this is one of my favorite episodes in the series.

I'll be honest. The father/chef had a point. Various businesses from Kitchen Nightmares and Bar rescue are a general hit or miss on success and some had to close down. An example, Abbey's baking company was a legend for making Gordan Ramsey to walk away and long story short, it was closed down and became a legend for memes and another business was O-face in bar rescue made Jon Taffer walk away and the business closed down for good. Know what I'm talking about or am I just blowing smoke up someone's yay.

I find it a bit frustrating when other people have similar ideas to my own, but I've actually grown a small audience in these past two years by just doing the things (types of artwork) that I actually am passionate about. All I have to say to Zesty's remark is that a true Gourmand embraces all flavors and says the good things about the dishes and what could be improved. Demanding you be served only bland food is just asking for it. You may love your food bland and tasteless, but you should never force anyone to adopt the same taste as you. As far as I'm concerned, you are a Gourmand in name only.

Working with others can be tough when there is a difference of opinion without also a clearly defined pecking-order or otherwise chain of command. Some of us are doing work on Discord to make a Network of Servers, and yeah... people have to know how to stay on target while staying level-headed but it can also be fun. :3

*As for teh "Expert Opinions" thing/comment.............. yeah,* The thing to remember being that the "Opinion" of an Actual Expert well learned in their fields with practice to show for it is of much more value than simply opinions had by random anybodies. _Not All Opinions are Created Equal, Nor are all who make or have Opinions._ By that same point, Always Question and Always Ask. Never simply take something as gospel cuz told to such there may be other views, or that an "expert" is so in name only. *Opinions are only worth as much as those who hold them and knowing what that is takes knowing the facts.* The biggest issue again then here being the excessive dependence on only ONE "Expert," and as a population not being willing to challenge what they say with facts or other experts.
