Now that operation is what a REAL business looks like. Kudos to Nick and his father. A dying breed.
Loving all the “eh’s” in this video!

Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!!
last time i did woodworking was in year 8, i am now 32 and i've always wanted to do it again, i've always said if i ever win the lottery, i'll set up a blacksmith and woodwork shop because its one of, if not the purest form of art in the modern age and i'd love to be a part of it. Man, the shit you do is INCREDIBLE. This video is so inspiring seeing all the beautiful slabs and pieces, thank you for this my man.

I hope you get the time / opportunity to get back into it, thanks so much for watching! We always love to hear whenever our videos inspire someone, it's the best feedback to hear in my opinion!
That’s for sharing your trip, to the timber company, did you get your electric hand saw, ?
Just got a slab of Bastogne walnut from them a few months ago and it’s beautiful. Figured it was a small operation with a lot of stock, but didn’t know it was just the two of them. Super cool to actually see where what will be my tables came from!

Yeah we didn't realize it was just them till we got there either! And yeah, it's so cool getting to see where your wood is coming from!
That kind of video should be at least a hour long it’s so enjoyable

Sometimes thinking outside the box DOES make for some exotic, and profitable, resin pours.

Thanks for the video. What an amazing trip. I could have spent days at that place and love every minute of it. Looks like some really good pieces and that one pice that Brad was holding with the great quilting was enough to make me go weak at the knees. Fabulous, look forward to seeing you working with some of their timber. Cheers,Michael.

I thought that I had a good winter collecting ash burls from my logging job - I got 13. 😂 Those guys have a bunch. Thanks for showing us!!!

Hey, 13 is a good start! Thanks for watching!
So cool, I cry because we drove past a few of those places and could see like thousands of fruit trees all in a huge pile that they took out and planted new ones.
The quilting on what looked like maple was incredible! Would love some of that

I know! So crazy!!
Great video!!! Thanks for showing us where you procure your wood. It's fun to know, start to finish, what is involved in a project. Keep up the good work!!!

Agreed! We love getting to know the story of a slab, especially since so many of the ones we work with are salvaged!
Thats some of the most beautiful wood I've ever seen! Just a mountain of treasure!
Thank you for another great video. Enjoy the journey. I look forward to watching/seeing the Paul Leblanc project, if it’s the Paul LeBlanc I’m thinking of, he’s an artist with Decks & outdoor transformations.

Charlie has really grown. He must ve nearly full size now. There was some gorgeous wood there. Dylan, did you go to college to learn about the different wood, or did you learn on the job?
@BlackForestWoodCo

Yes he is full size! There sure is! With Brad as his dad he had no choice but to learn throughout his life haha
Yea! Yea! Yea! Yea! Yea! Yea!
Those slabs are impressive, I would love a tree that big in my field
I saw the title and thought “is there really too much when you guys produce such gorgeous pieces???”

Hello buddy, could you add Polish to the translation of your videos because I watch your channel and it would help me a lot because I also try to work with wood. Thank you in advance, best regards and keep working because you are creating really great things 😉
And the story continues🤝🫶
The whole trying to grow burls or figured wood reminds me of the bog wood. There's at least 1 company that can make bog wood that i remember seeing. In time someone will figure it out and do it
Shocking that there is no regulation about replacing trees, quite insane actually.
Oh man! Y’all were in Sacramento area and I missed ya. Would have loved to meet and greet or something with some of my favorite KZreadrs/woodworking inspiration.

Great video as always. How many orders for tables whether coffee tables or large supper tables do you get a week? What are some of the more exotic woods your company uses? Again great video. Really interesting. I think Charlie has grown some from the last time I saw him. Give him a scratch for me. lol
Try hearne hardwoods next they have some special stuff

Brad was saying that Hunski is 28 or 29 years in business now if they started in 1995, but saying we started in 1993. He was just comparing our starting years so he could do mental math quicker
