What a stunning table! I love the way the swirls of colour pop throughout the clear resin and against the black base layer! I think you should do that more often!

We would love to! Now that we know how to accomplish this look, but we ca probably never 100% guarantee the final product because different pigments might react differently

Hahahaha, we'll all never forget! Thank you so much, and I agree haha 😂
I've been watching these videos for quite a while, and I love your work. I was sceptical when the secondary pour and logo appeared orange (worst colour ever). I know it's red, but it appeared orange on video. It turned out to be absolutely beautiful ❤ and the only way orangey red could look good!
Great table! You can mix mica powder with clear uv resin, inject/pour/swirl that into fresh clear resin, cure it with a UV light to lock it in place and then let the rest of the resin cure naturally. It creates some very cool swirling effects I've never been able to get any other way.
I like the table. It's something new no one sees. I like the swirl patterns and the two tone colors used. I think the table instills far reaching possibilities. I hope you get more requests like this table in the future. Congratulations on a very nice and successful build. Give Charlie a couple of ear rubs for me.

The table looks amazing! As usual. The swirls came out better than I expected. I was a little skeptical about that. What was the cost to your client? Thanks for sharing!
Yes the 15 to 18 hour mark at 21c room temp is an optimal time for that effect that you have done as we are doing a similar concept at the moment for a space theme table. Love the timbers you have access to. Keep up the good work!
What a fantastic table!!! Have often wondered if the team was able to pour epoxy and achieve a "marbled" effect. Thanks for sharing and showing how the team achieved the final result. Great team, great job, great results!!! Keep up the good work!!!

That design really came out nice. Great job!!! I really liked the four samples that you showed. The side view was very interesting. Keep those handy for new projects. If you poured those resins in reverse with the table upside down you would be able to see the blobs from the top once the table is right side up. Then after it sets, pour the black which would be the bottom.

That one sample that you said looked kinda cool upside down I think could make a pretty sweet table. Do it exactly like you did on that sample except without the black base layer because since you're basically pouring upside down, the black would obstruct everything. Then come back and sand that ugly top layer like your sample had off and pour a black base layer so it looks like these colored drops coming up from the black base. I think that could be super unique.
Perfection as usual! Great stuff again!

What might have been cool is instead of splitting it straight across like you did would be to do it on a long angle just so it looked more like a natural split instead of a straight crack.

That table is ridiculous! And I mean that in a good way. Any chance you could share how much it cost?
Could I ask, as you had to snap the wood to sort out the warp, could you not have cut it through the middle and swapped it round so the two live end edges met in the middle? You squared off the ends anyway so it might have made for a more interesting shape in the middle? Lovely as always though! (oh and 7 days is neither longer or shorter than a full week 😂)
Have to wait a week to cure instead of 7 days. Are weeks a different length in Canada 😅
OK here’s the thing i just bought a New home in Key West . Two Days before moving in i sent my home inspector to make sure everything was ok for moving in, Replace light bulbs , Make sure everything that was in the House was gone , No hidden surprises basically… Then i get a Phone call saying a Large Dining Table and Desk was still in the garage .. So range the Realtor who said that they were refused removal by the Local Furniture Dump for recycling and had to be taken back to where they came from. Because they were made from Wood & Composite Plastic Resin thats not recyclable. Even the Local Goodwill Would not take it as it was way too big and people do not go to Goodwill to buy expensive Hand made furniture… They even had a Garage sale 7 Days before moving out also and No one wanted it. Now it gets worse the Owner is a Top manager for Friends of the Earth 😂.. These things are Not Recyclable in fact your not even allowed to take them to a dump .. Just thought you should know. They look great but very Bad for the Environment.

Attention all woodworkers. Beginners and advanced Craftsman. There is sad news coming out of Sheffield, United Kingdom. BBC report: A workshop group set up to help men talk about their mental health is facing closure as its landlord battles against rising overheads. Steelers Heelers, based in the Steel Inn on Sheffield's Manor estate, provides a space for people to talk and take on woodworking projects..... I know times are very hard for everyone. And I totally understand the saying "every penny counts" . But I was wondering if we could all chip in and set up funding for these gentlemen. As someone who picked up woodworking in his late 30s, there is something about woodworking that calms the mind and nerves. Knowing how supportive this community is, I think it's only right and our duty to help these lads out. Please spread the word !!!
Cost of this table?
Beautifully crafted. The name spoils it though. It will always be upside down for someone seated at the table.
