I'm in Greece right now and can so relate to everything in your video! The clear alcohol was probably 'Tsipouro' unless it smelled like aniseed in which case it was 'Ouzo'.

Oh we love Athens. (3:13) You got the sign of the hotel we stayed in (Royal Olympic); you must have been nearby. Nice area and so convenient. Loved your comment on 'digestives'. (aka wafer type cookies in the UK). Those little differences in languages can be fun (we ordered a sausage biscuit in Ireland and should have seen the look on the girl's face - sausage what???? Of course biscuits to them are cookies). Mykonos looked nice, but we'll leave that to you youngsters. Crete is more our style (laid back, less of a nightlife party place (though there are plenty of late night places to hang out), and less cruise day trippers). Glad you enjoyed. Oh that was Ouzo I bet. You get a shot of that just about every restaurant after dinner. I pass on it. Hope you get back to Greece at some point.

I remember while I was in elementary school going to the Acropolis for field trips. It was so fun. Oh, I suspect the clear liquid left behind on your last airBnb is retsina. It’s powerful but so smooth and relaxing. I finally got to have it when I was in my 20s. It has the kick like vodka but a bit stronger. I miss the days when I lived in Greece. The apartment we lived in was next to the old Athens International Airport. It was in the suburb of Glyfada. Thank you for showing Greece. You and Sidney take care.

The drink in the 3rd Airbnb was probably Ouzo. It is delicious.

The clear liquid with shot glasses was probably Ouzo anise flavored aperitif. Our equivalent to Jaegermeister. Recognized the same areas of Mykonos. Love Greece

Beautiful city, dinner in the square below looking up at the Acropolis is something. I love the streets of Mykonos, did you walk to the top of the island. The islands are expensive as everything is brought in by boat. A that aside it is a beautiful Country. Grappa, that stuff is insane.

Now I want to visit Greece! Thank you for vlogging this, looked so relaxing and fun. Did you have to fill out a PLF form?

Been there too...but on a Cruise. As I recall Mykonos was referred to as the "Party Island," perhaps you experienced that?? Santorini was actually our favorite island... maybe next time?

McVitties digestives and brown sugar with coffee are staples in UK and Europe. Great vlog enjoyed the scenes and advice. Will not be visiting restaurant 180 on my next trip to Greece.

Was it ouzo? When I was overseas the last thing I remember was yelling "another bottle of ouzo." to our waiter. I made it out alive but sure didn't feel like it.

That kitten was adorable. KC, if the alcohol in your last b&b smelled like licorice is was probably Ouzo. Would you be able to tell us which Air B&B's you stayed in? The last host was so thoughtful.

Was this a day ferry to Mykonos? And did you bring your bags ?

I have a feeling the greek drink is "Rakiyah" - or something like that. its almost 50% ABV i think...
