He hasn't fought Crawford. And when he does,his " O" might Go!... Its hard for me to pick a winner, Spence is a natural welterweight, Crawford's not,but I'm still going to pick Crawford in possibly an all time great fight.

Rewatching this to study it for Spence Crawford, man, the punch volume, pace, and attack of this fight is unreal. Hats off to both these gladiators.

Man after going back and watching Porter against Spencer and Crawford! Porter is definitely a gladiator!

This was a hell of a fight, recommended it to people who didn't see it live.

Classic fight. Porter loss, but there were really no losers in this fight. I don't think I've ever seen Shawn Porter and Errol Spence Jr. in a bad boring fight. They always bring it.

Crazy how often Porter squares up, especially when he advances, causing him to throw a lot of arm punches. It's a testament to his heart and stamina (and chin) that he had such a good career really

Bud laughed and responded "you are a good one but I'm a fighter". Spence just smiled and looked down. Right then and there his fate was sealed. Crawford is a born fighter and Spence isn't and never was. Spence knew he had no chance and avoided for many years what happened to him in the end. Fighters know when someone is better than they are and Spence knows from the beginning. That's why he didn't "look right" he was scared as it's a real messed up feeling going into a fight knowing the other guy is better than you are. Crushed all the Spence fans in the process

Jack Reese is an excellent ref. Notice how he got a peek at the end of 1st round at Porter. He's getting a reading on "normal" stress on each fighter so later, when things progress in the fight, he can guage better the condition of the fighter. Fair, accurate calls and fighter safety. Those are the 3 qualities a good ref. must possess.

If Riese is such a great ref, why did he let Spence get off with dirty tactics, including numerous uncalled low blows? Spence won the fight, but should have been called out by Riese. Manny has been on the receiving end of numerous ridiculous ref calls & bogus decisions(Jeff Horn bout, 1st Bradley fight, bad ref calls in 1st Morales fight), I hope gets a fair shake against Spence. No predictions, but I think Spence's face is gonna hurt the day after if Manny is 100%, even at 42.

Crawford doesn't fight like Shawn, Shawn attacked from all angles and is much shorter than Spence, he was getting under Spence which gave him a bit of an advantage. Crawford doesn't fight like Shawn and so he now has to deal with Spence on a different approach. You don't see it now but you will when they fight! Spence can be beat but if you look at Shawn in those last 3 rounds he was exhausted and he was hurting but kept coming forward, that's the way he fights that the only way he knows how to fight but Crawford is a straight up straight forward fighter and he will have to be a counterpunching God on that night to beat Spence. Spence punches hurt! Crawford is going to have to fight the best fight he ever fought or catch Spence with a Haymaker because he can't stand in front of him!

Man, Spence throws an absolutely ludicrous number of low blows in this fight. He's prone to that, but this is out of hand. Just back after Spence/Crawford - dude looks pretty similar. He lunges, he gets his weight out beyond his feet, crashes around, and he always gets hit. Difference is, Porter's a lifetime 50% KO guy, Ugas is a 47% lifetime KO guy, Danny Garcia 52% KO - Spence could survive getting tagged by those guys without much thought. Crawford's got a sniper rifle on his arm compared to the rest of the guys on Spence's resume. I'm still concerned about Spence's corner letting him come out for the 8th, but I think the notion that he was secretly damaged or whatever in the lead up to the fight is unsupported by his last few years of activity. Seems like he was a little freaked out by the size of the event, and was in there with a better fighter, on a bad night. Anyway, Shawn is an absolute wrecking ball, I dont think we'll ever see another one like him.

Face to face long story short, Spence said "I'm a businessman" to which Crawford responded and said "you are a good one but I'm a fighter". Spence fate was sealed right there and the awkward silence smile he did confirmed it.

Let’s not forget Errol’s whole plan was to fight just like Shawn and beat him at his own game, He could’ve easily stood on the outside and picked his shots just like he did with Mikey Garcia. BUILT DIFFERENT! 🦈

LOL did you even watch the first 3 rounds? He was getting outboxed on the outside and made to look silly vs a shorter man.The inside game is also spence's game so you speak nonsense.... A left hook 1min into rd4 from Porter stunned him and pushed him back, he HAD to make it rough on the inside. 'Easily picked him off from the outside' haha .... porter is no flat footed featherweight. Errol's best shot of winning is always on the inside, the latter half of the Mikey fight was an inside beatdown too. Mikey is a short small blown up flat footed featherweight so 'outboxing' him is hardly an achievement, and the second half became an inside fight. Spence CAN fight at range, but he is just not that good at it as he is on the inside .... even Ugas was tagging him from rounds 1-4 before he adjusted and fought on the inside.... you guys think he will box vs Bud? Of course not. He only has one way but he is VERY good at that one way. Stop the cap, Spence is not a boxer puncher or super well rounded as Bud.

@@abezzzy121 Wow you must not understand the different ranges of boxing or you are blind....there was no outside fight after 4 rounds, 1 min into round 4 Porter rocked him with a left hook and that made him go backwards, he had no choice but to force an inside fight with Shawn. Porter was getting the better of the exchanges on the outside for the most part, just like Ugas with his right hand and the ''mouthpiece incident''. One judge had Porter winning .... and that is with a knockdown. Spence barely scraped by and won.

Two things. He didn’t “fight just like Shawn Porter”, he fought how he approaches every fight: establish a jab and work his way into the inside. Spence fought his usual fight. Secondly, Errol himself said he was going to knock Mikey out. He couldn’t knock him because Mikey kept his distance and Spence couldn’t close it. He didn’t choose to go 12 with a lightweight, just like he didn’t choose to go 12 with Porter (who Spence said he was going to be the first to knock out). I’m a big fan of Spence, but I’m not going to lie for him or run with a narrative that isn’t grounded in reality. Edit: in the post-fight presser, Spence even admitted that he tried to knock Mikey out.

Porter fought such a good fight. His recovery from that “barely a KD KD” was one of the most badass exemplifications of warrior spirit I’ve seen in this sport.

maybe, but the problem with porter is zero defence. he can make a hit but in return he is willing to get hit twice. That is what I call, zero defence. He is a good boxer, but he is paying cheap , getting his father as coach ang tactician, it will not go far mate....... Unlike Pacquiao, he got a good coach and tactician looking for habit weakness to his opponent. The father and son team only looking for the money they can save and put in their pockets. that is why he is just a class B welterweight, class A welterweights fights them just padd up their record wins.

Not seen it before, could not call the result the whole way through. I expected Porter to gas out given his early energy and Spence being more conservative but he kept coming the whole 12 rounds, amazing stuff. Both valiant and deserving fighters.

Spence really out dogged Porter, and outboxed both Garcia’s. It’s almost like he wants to prove a point he’s well rounded.

@@m.taplette3899 Yes it was. You're just watching it with the benefit of time and hindsight. But studies show that what you actually see in the moment is actually the best recollection of a thing. The longer time goes by you can start to filter in new information that messes with your recollection. That's why detectives want to interview witnesses as fast as possible after a crime. They want everything as fresh as possible to not be tainted with other crap. That's why the judges score the fight right then and there. What if they took a few days to review the replay several times before they handed out their decision?

Crawford had the mindset and skills to beat Spence...the pbc knew what was up for all the belts... Bud took the biggest risk by signing with the PBC, and they had nothing to lose... Bud waited to show Spence what was up

Porters dad let him down. He should have been yelling at the ref after round one to call those low blows

The way Porter respects his father and trusts him in the heat of battle with NO DOUBTS is a beautiful thing. I hope my son sees me like that.

I've been watching this fight years and it's new everytime I see it.

If this was the Spence that fought Crawford fight would be closer I know styles make fights but Spence was slow as dirt and wasn’t moving like he was when he fought shawn

Nah,the same result ,sp2nce always had the same problems ,no footwork,flat footed and he drops his hands when throwing and he reaches a lot too,but he has great conditioning power and durability ,but his style is lacking ,see how he struggled against potter ,a guy that can move ,but potter didn't have enough power to keep spence honest ,but you sw what happened against bud ,a guy that has footwork is fast ,and has real power ,and reach ,thats how we all knew spence was going to lose 5 years ago,the only question was could buds chin handle spence ,and he could .

Even when shawn porter loses no one looks at him as such because he leaves absolutely everything in that ring. True warriors

This was the best Shawn Porter we will ever see, he is a warrior, but after rewatching the exchanges and what actually was landing, I do think Errol Spence won a clear victory. This fight was a war.

If he was like he was against Ugas it would be bad for Porter. He spared him like he did Mikey but he stole their souls. No fighter is the same after fighting Spence.

Rewatching for the Spence Vs Crawford fight. Spence & Porter are exchanging with similar styles. I like Spence a lot but Bud isn’t going to exchange blow for blow in the pocket too long. Expect Quick exchanges & then he’ll pop out to reassess & then re-engage. I got my money on Bud because of the IQ & his footwork to recreate opportunities. Respectfully, Errol doesn’t do that enough. I anticipate Bud stops Spence in late rounds and he’ll use Spence’s aggression against him.

Mann ima say again….it’s a lot of work fighting Shawn them punches come from literally anywhere and he doesn’t stop….frickin love this new era classic 🙏🏾🔥🇯🇲
