I feel sad for Porter. He's such a nice gentleman. He always gives a good performance of himself in and out of the ring. I give a lot of credit to his father. Well done for raising such a wonderful, warm hearted and lovely person. I'm sad to see Porter retire because he's such an exciting fighter. But then again, I'm happy that he is retiring with all his senses intact. Well done to Crawford, what a fighter.

Hey i understand where you're coming from, the man has been in 4 good close fights with top champions. I thought he was good but Crawford just a lil better bit extra power, his father sensed that even should he recover, he wasn't gonna win the fight on the cards so why unnecessary punishment, he can fight always another day.. Thankfully he's been a 2time champion and is 4-4 in 8world title fights himself n that ain't too shabby.. so at least unlike poor Rocky Juarez 6 attempts inc draws, split decisions n still never won the big one...

Tbh i don't see why porter would retire, bud will likely move to 154 because the spence doesn't seem to be coming off unfortunately, porter can beat ugas n the rest of them n his fight with spence, was so close there should have been a rematch, it was a great fight n I'd happily like to see it again, unless bud n spence get themselves together..

And once Bud has guys hurt it only gets worse, if it went on Porter would've been brutally finished or badly beaten up to the final bell. Can't be mad at his father for wanting to prevent that.

Damn!!! Crawford has everything. From ring IQ to strong chin, from movement to speed, from power to footwork. Very very special fighter. As a Spence fan, I am worried.

His chin doesn't seem great, Porter hurt him in the 3rd round, Mean Machine dropped him, Gamboa hurt him. I've seen him hurt in a lot of his fights.

Absolute Phenomenal fight, my gawd!!! Porter retiring with that much hunger, so much respect for that warrior and gentleman. Congratulations to Crawford absolute pure hard work and talent.

As I watched live after Rd 9 I could see Crawford looking at someone ringside, seemed he was being told Porter was up. Now I see the replay I think it was Bradley. Crawford nods his head, goes out for Rd 10 and ends it. The guy is absolutely brilliant.

Shawn porter is the man. His blitzing style is so entertaining. I’d way rather watch Porter lunge in head first, swinging bombs, than watch a defensive safe fighter like a Mayweather.

This was hands down the best fight I've watched in the last few years. Mad respect to Crawford as always, never watched Porter I don't think but respect to him too, he's pretty incredible, reminds me a little of Mike Tyson with the way he moves.

They should have left it at 2 imo and Wilder shouldn't have taken the fight. I guess he did for the money. So that fight wasn't that entertaining for me in that regard. If you said fight 2 then maybe I'd agree. This fight on the other hand was class. Respect to both fighters in this. The energy and skill between the both of them was awesome.

@@thefootballandboxingchanne2357 Nah stop it, you can fool yourself but not others. When Tyson fury beat Klitschko for 12 rounds and Usyk. Joshua everyone said they were boring fights. Crawford is my p4p fighter, but this fight was not the best fight of the last couple of years. The level of determination and heart Fury and Wilder showed in their 3rd fight is unrivaled. Skill isn't everything that makes a fight, it makes a fighter sure but not a fight Heart beats all.

Porter is the peoples champ, such an exciting fighter who never lets the fans down.

Porter is a true warrior, just look how he punched the canvas while he was down the second time, he came up with fire in his eyes. I'm so glad his father stopped him tbh, he could've gotten serious damage by throwing himself into the fire with Bud while being hurt. Terence is a fierce finisher. His father probably didn't want Shawn to take potentially permanent damage in his last fight.

I dont like the stoppage. As many others didnt. But I totally understand why daddy stopped the fight. He is so in control of porters life, daddy porter a controlfreak. Im not sure crawford would stop shawn, he really wanted to fight and it could easily gone to UD, or a referee stoppage at round 11 or 12. Porter has a underrated chin, and a big heart.

Commentators had no ideas how much the fight had swung from round 6 on. Crawford was in total control. I still think he is underrated. Spence can’t admit to himself that Crawfords intelligence had him dealing with porter more incisively than he did.

100 percent. They weren't the heaviest blows landed and porter knew that, hence his frustration punching the mat cos he knew it was his balance. Kenny has way too much control on Shauns life. I honestly feel sorry for Shaun cos his Dad controls him

Spence too flat footed he'll walk into Shots, He's a pressure fighter you gotta show Crawford everything when you fight same with floyd, 1 particular style probably eont het you over the line. Porter is a better athlete than spence so he had joy that alot of other fighters won't have, he still struggled alot though because he's not as Rounded, Crawford is the only WW he'd struggle with like this, Porter outside of Thurman is probably the only WW who could have success in the way he did in this fight. Spence is Good against inside fighters not guys who can fight backwards with Good and Fast Feet.

Crawford simply hits a lot of clean shot. I initially thought the fight was stopped a bit too early but I have watched it again and again - and it was going to be unnecessary destruction should the fight been allowed to go on. Good call. What a body shot at the start of the 10th round

That gear change the Crawford made is why for me, he is on the p4p list. Great fight.

I think it was more porter slowing down than anything. It was great for Crawford to get some good experience though, this can only help him. Still has more to improve on.

What a masterful performance. He slowed down Porter with body shots and then started to time him lunging forward with the left uppercut, and sealed the deal. Now that he's free from TR i pray for Bud vs Errol next.

Great fight! Very entertaining. They deserve a rematch. I had never seen anybody fight crawford better than that. Shawn gave him a good fight and did his best in this fight. Crawford is just so good and gifted. Crawford is the best in this era.

Can't deny Porters skill set is top notch, great fight! Now Crawford vs Spence.

Good stoppage. He saved his son from getting truly hurt. Crawford is now number one, it is up to the others to challenge him.

It was a horrible stoppage both times Porter was off balance the second knockdown the last 2 shots didn’t even hit him

@Cardano Ada News I didn’t say Crawford got dropped I said he got hurt both Andre ward and Bradley caught it and Porter got dropped because he was off balance that’s why he got straight back up both times

Both great fights that we all knew would not disappoint. The difference for me was Porter looked like a brawler tonight and Crawford looked like a confident boxer. Porters countless lunges from the first round onwards were easily countered by Porter and against anyone with heavier hands it may have been over even quicker. Great fight. Well done to both warriors.
