How do I do the 4200 series ones?

Is there a way to vary a constant value with a knob on any of the transmitters (DX, NX iX)? For example, if I want to test various values for Expo. To be able to assign the actual Expo value to R Knob along with a range, maybe 0 to 50, and be able to vary it until I get a value I like. I know I can do this with switches and using different values but curious about doing it with a knob for testing.

Once AVC has been disabled, can I use aux1, aux2 or aux 3 to power other servos or led lights?

Ok so do I set my throttle and brake before or after this do I bind it normal then calibrate then disable or disable then calibrate throttle and brake

Not working with SR6200A. Did 1000 times. As decribed in manual, too. No 3 blinking at ON.

Good tip, very useful! Is there a specific orientation the receiver needs to be mounted in the vehicle to make sure AVC works properly?

Yes, it needs to be mounted so that one of the flat sides is facing down. Hope that helps!

if you have a dx5 pro you will have to turn off the transmitter before you disable the avc. than turn on to bind !

how do you switch the avc to the other direction

It’s now 2023… why can’t we just have an AVC on/off control through the power/settings button???

Hi all I’ve got a Spektrum DX6 for flying but since the lock down I’ve now started making RC boats my question is how can I program the throttle stick to give me reverse

It can depend on your ESC at that point. Also following the mode change instructions in the manual, you can turn one of the adjustment screws on the front of the DX6 to make is so the Throttle stick is spring loaded

I disabled avc for my axial ryft. now no delay issue when I switch on the ryft.

Yeah I got that too with my LMT

Waiting for the avc to calibrate/initiate makes calibrating 3rd party esc’s like Hobbywing a real pain, even after following this video to turn avc off it still take too long to start up and the esc wont calibrate. I have to pull the + wire from esc plug and use an external BEC to power receiver up first then wait for it to start up then power on esc and go through calibartion. I wil stick to sr315 and SR515 and use a 3rd party gyro if needs be. I will never buy one of these receivers again.

How do I pu it back on?

Is there any difference in completely disabling this vs simply turning it all the way down on a DX3 transmitter?

Functionally no, but it does make binding a bit easier because you do not need to do the calibration afterward.

Hi Tom, tried many times to bind and calibrate my felony but the throttle is on the receiver wheel and not on the trigger. I also have no control of the servo. Why?

Hi Shaffique, definitely sounds like you got some wires crossed. Double check your connections and that everything is the correct polarity.

If i disable on DX3 will i get back my dual rate knob where the AVC was?now i just got a losi tenacity DB pro,And im going to bind a DX3 to it should i go through the bind process and calibration and then turn off AVC?And when you turn off AVC when i bind do i also have to recalibrate?that DX2e seems you have to rebind all the time after changing trim or anything,thats why im upgrading,Well i also love the DX3 i have them for 2 other RCs.hope you can help please.

Hi Clinton, Yes if you bind with AVC disabled then the knob will be used for rates. Hope that helps!

Please make a same kind of video for older ( bind plug models)!!

I did all this on my axial ryft but gyro only works when tilting truck front to back. Nothing happens when turning on axis like it does on my drift car

When AVC is used, such as the stock receiver in the Baja Rey, the steering rate knob is then the gain knob for AVC. IF you need to reduce steering rate you can adjust it via the programming of the transmitter OR disable AVC like in the video and then the knob will function as a steering rate knob.

Simply rebind as normal and calibrate AVC.

Then why does it say it needs to be recalibrated in the manual? And when I followed this video I loose reverse unless I recalibrate. Then the avc comes back on.

@@riskyjedi Manual is a bit dated, with latest firmware on the RX, if you bind in this way (diasble AVC) there is no need to calibrate AVC on the RX. I would say they are likely unrelated... What transmitter are you using?

This is why try on mine truck w/o lucky Mamba X with 6200A receiver Power the system I press the 3 short times and then the long time and the receiver puts on bind mode but when I check for 3 blink stay solid. Any idea? I'm supose that I don't touch bind button enough fast. TIA

It will blink 3 times then stay solid. one way to check if it is disabled is to see if the AVC does not operate. IE pick up the truck and turn it and see if the wheels counter act. If they do not then you are good to go.

Do u still have to calibrate after doing that procedure ?
