Thank you sooo much! You're a life saver! The DX5 Rugged manual isn't clear on how to do this and I was getting frustrated with setting this up. As a FYI your tutorial also works with the DX5 Rugged. (Color of radio doesn't matter. All the same programming) So if other viewers have the DX5 Rugged this tutorial will work for you. 👍👍👍

Hey Shelby. I really like the dx5. Not sure what features it has beyond the 5c. I'm pretty sure the5c will do the job for most but you know me, hahaha, got to have the best. Hahaha

Great tutorial! You got some serious electronics in there. I liked see your idea for mounting the esc. That will stick with me as I start my own scratch build. Never enough room for things. =)

Thanks so much. Really appreciate that comment my friend. The mount for the esc is in the other mst video. Do you need me to show it on camera again? Let me know. I used a piece of stainless steel and bent it in the vise and bolted it thru where the slider bolt to the frame. It actually makes a nice cover for the transmission. I will take a pic and upload it to the community board for you.

I can see how it's done. Its little tricks like that, that we come up with to suet a need. Now I have it in my mental notebook. I can use it or elaborate something like it for who knows what.

GReat video... I need to take a step further. I want to put the spektrum se1040rx on a redcat danchee which is a dual moa. So I need to figure out the 2motor w 2 servos. I have the dx5c. Any ideas? Thanks for you help.

Great video. Do you have one on setting up drive mode for 4WS? I’m new to this. You visit Warrenton hobby shop any?

Thanks. The steering cycles thru each option with one switch. It will go to reg steering/ all wheel steering/ crab walk/ rear steering. I haven't been to the hobby shop in a while. My friend Joe works there.

Thanks Jim. Umm, not sure. The 5c does have the mixing feature. Use mixing dual servos. Then just combine the channels, boom.

That's a nice truck really nice remote too many bells and whistles for me it's pretty good looking motorcycle you got sitting in there too by the way I'm going to redo my sticker and so it has a green background and I'll send you one so you can put it up on the sticker board so you can see my entire logo not just the red line I'll send you a couple for crying out loud you sent me like 10 of yours

I am not sure about the Rugged. I think the 4ws option is just on the pro. just not sure, sorry.

Does it matter what aux port u have it in?

Nope. Just need to make sure to choose that aux port when setting it up.

Men I just bought this and I’m so confused and over welmed so many many features it’s confusing I was use to my tqi 1 specially with that quick nub for tsm lol and Traxxas app now I don’t even no how to put more brakes on my rc or put tsm

Tsm is a traxxas option only. Take your time. Look up in the book exactly what you want to do and try to take it step by step. It seems overwhelming but it is really simple. Let me know if you cannot get it to work the way you want. I will help how ever I can.

Right on brother I appreciate it. Yea the only reason I bought this one was because the Traxxas wasn’t. Gaving me lots of range it would cut off every time I would do a speed run but this dx5pro men let me tell u I tested out the rang and it has super super far ranging wich I really like
