Thanks for this, I watched midwinter minis original one a while back and loved the scheme. You’ve also done a great job. Thanks for the OSL description, always worried about thus step but you made it nice a clear. Just about to do a similar base and I wondered how you locked your pigments down to the base. I want to keep the dusty look about down want it falling off everywhere. Did you use anything on the base after applying the pigments?

if you want to be super tacky, put a blob of stormhost silver at the very center of a light source and glaze a bit of the base color over it. It reflects through nicely and is more intense than white. the problem is I usually fudge up and put too much paint over the silver and have to start over.

  • @Amunra861

What do you think these would look like if you did the normal green/yellow on the guns/lights instead of blue. Would it be hideous/ look out of place. I don't understand color theory enough to be able to guess before I actually did it lol

I will freely admit that speed-painting videos aren't usually something I touch, but I enjoyed the way you frame the techniques you used throughout the video as they were appearing on screen instead of front-loading everything then just talking specifics about the models. If I had one suggestion it would be to use segments of footage for the models as opposed to just fast-forwarding the majority of the process to give an idea of how each step looks in real-time. I also understand that this approach would require way more work, and understand why you'd go for the more general approach.
