If you don't fear some cutting and kitbashing: I made my own new flayed one with a necron warrior and the arms from the cryptothralls and then followed this here tutorial to add the rest. If you are careful with your knife you can cut out the arms along the ball and with plastic glue it's a perfect fit (or you can roughly cut them out and sand down to the balls)

Back in the oldcron days, I had plans to start an army in colors not dissimilar to Hive Fleet Kraken; bone-colored Necrons with dark red. Only ever got to paint up a squad of 5 Warriors, which I no longer have. My new plan's completely different; inspired by the Maykrs from DOOM Eternal, I'm gonna translate them into 40K as a Necron dynasty in white, gold, and red.

These look amazing! I love the super glue/ pva mix for gore. My favorite thing about your videos, is how you mention how to combine various colors, (terra-cotta in this video as an example). I do not have any kind of art background, and learning how to mix your own colors has really helped me improve my painting. I'm sure there are some people that have a more natural eye for color, but for those of us who don't, having it specifically laid out, really helps!

Awesome job Guy. I'm usually much more of a fan of the high-tech Necron look, I used to collect them back when the neon rod warriors had just been released and I leaned heavily into that, but this decayed, gore splattered look gives the models a completely different personality that works so well, and tells a story without words. And it's easy to do. Seriously. Be proud :)

Although while monotony is main piece of scheme here, I feel like some brighter color here and there would nicely break off to strike the eye. Hi Guy, a great video and a really cool technique to make all of the blood and sinew pop from the models. It is delightfully macabre and I agree with you, the standard colour schemes that are put out are a little alike to one another, so its always nice to see a look that breaks the barriers a bit. Your not the only one who didn't follow the rules for putting them together, I also made that mistake but thankfully have caught it at a point that could be ok....maybe ;-)

At first I thought the greenishness of the flesh looked weird, but after the extra detail I see it makes it look almost rotten, nice touch!

I like how you mention what paints to mix together, a lot of painters just say "use this citidel, then this citidel, then this citidel"

Oh wow. This is exactly the style I've been working on! I've been working with Green Stuff and am using a slightly lighter tone for the flesh and metals, but it's damn near the exact same styling!!!! That's brilliant to see how it will (hopefully) turn out.

UHU glue with Tamiya clear red (mixed with purple for darker blood) is fantastic stuff for stringy gore. It dries translucent as well. You can also use green and yellow inks if you want to make slime, pus etc.

So what you're saying about not clipping out all the parts at once is "Mistakes were made!" Got it!

Best birthday present ever. This video showed just up over here, already at the 2nd of August. Thanks for this present, Guy! :D Nice dynasty colour scheme you've got there. I actually find the idea for thin milliput parts very fascinating. Prolly will work that into torn fabrics and leather for some models!
