The camera angles. The dialogue. The lighting is just so good. The way Clint Eastwood is sitting with his face just barely visible and covered in darkness looking up. Morgan Freeman is completely lit and looking downward.
Morgan Freeman and Clint Eastwood conversing. Infinite Win.

2 of the greatest actors ever!!
I don't know where or when I'll die, but all I hope for, all I ask for is that when it happens, I can die thinking "I think I did all right."

Inspirational indeed. Love this film in every direction. Pure class…
I wish I could find the scene where she is jogging on the beach and Morgan Freeman is talking...that's some inspirational stuff too.
A well deserved Oscar
2 of the most legendary people in this world talking. Epic.
Only 2 of the greatest actors ever! I think we want to die thinking “I did alright”
I did watch the scene. Twice. And I remember it vividly and heart achingly. My comment was directed at her family. Sometimes when the going is beyond tough and terrible, the only thing that might bring you through is love and family and/or friends. Her only friends were Clint and Morgan who were much much older than she was. Being trapped and 'cared' for (right!?) by her immediate family was terrifying beyond belief. It makes me sick to my stomach just imagining it. Thanks!
Truly meaningful speech
When Clint said "I killed her" i felt so heart broken and guilty myself that i was pouring.

LOVE THIS MOVIE!
"Every man dies, not every man really live" - Wallace.
I wish Morgan Freeman would just follow me around and narrate my life in real time
that was a remarkable performance by morgan freeman. it shows all the regrets of his character for missing his chance
hope is all any of us want
I found you a fighter and you made her the best fighter she could be. I killed her. Don't say that. Maggie walked through that door with nothing but guts. No chance in the world of being what she needed to be. A year and a half later, she's fighting for the championship of the world. You did that. People die every day Frankie. Mopping floors, washing dishes, and you know what their last thought is? I never got my shot. Because of you, Maggie got her shot.
I was dead three days and pulled my life support lucky chance why I'm still here it wasn't my time I was dead on arrival on the streets of southern Cali Westside the other side has no color specific but the peace and beauty was worth this message if you thought it in life u made Never give up there's good in everyone I attest in my journey
Got to love Morgan Freeman. Voice of god!
Amazing Morgan Freeman voice. Damn.
4 years later again YES SIR . (NOT EVEN SINGLE LIKE )
If you think pouring your heart and soul into something, giving all you've got to achieve a goal is any less meaningful because it involves physical fighting then you don't understand boxing at all. Dying in pursuit of your ultimate goal is an honorable way to die. That's what that speech was all about.
Morgans the man. Tremendous actor
Morgan Freeman & Clint Eastwood

So what are you saying...a boxer is a slave?
'Fucking religious assholes' (me) were deeply conflicted respecting her pain in dealing with the users and abusers in her family. did she kill herself because of her own hopelessness or because she was not loved but only abused by those who should be the most trusted in a person's life. while understanding her decision, it was a lesson to me that in the right family and with the right friends her life could have impacted others even from bed with ability to communicate. Hawking? Helen Keller?
lol
that isn't true at all, he is saying wat u gave maggie was a chance to be something, it reminds me of the quote everyone die, but does everyone truly live? he is saying that while maggie died u gave her a chance to truly live to be something, and that is wat counts
AWFUL MOVIE. I hated it.
