It really says a lot that Bautista got his nose broken in this fight and he never mentions it. Instead focusing on Daniels injury. That's class right there

I try to focus on the damage I did to people during fights and never mention even getting hit. My humility is to be commended.
@RossMalagarie

@@jeffkeenan5059 same, and when Daniel explained his injury he said it was from Daniel asking Dave to throw him against the wall harder so "according to Daniel", Dave swung Daniel against the wall and he hit his knee and injured it so according to Daniel, Dave did injury Daniel's knee but of course Daniel DID ask him to swing him harder so I guess its both their faults.

+. Look up Chris Stuckmann's review of Guardians, and he says that Batista is the best wrestler-turned-actor since The Rock. (Everybody brings up Guardians… I, too, loved him in that. I also really liked him in Riddick, and he was one of my favorite parts of The Man with the Iron Fists.)

Can I just say that this woman is great at doing interviews? She is really into it, goes to the point, doesnt ask awkward or stupid questions and basically makes you feel really good and natural watching this. Kudos, I know how difficult interviews are.

He won't, but he has a lot of other big films coming soon.
Dave isn't a big dude who became an actor... he's an actor who just so happens to be a big dude! His performance in Spectre was so amazing! It's not easy to pull off a role with no dialogue but he did. His presence on screen just gave you chills because you knew this guy is all business, no negotiations.
This interview is better than 10 of those late-night talk show interviews.
Dave is so intimidating when you look at him but he's so soft spoken and comes off like a huggable grizzly bear
I love his character Mr. Hinx, i honestly put him up there with Oddjob, Jaws, Red Grant and others
this interview is so good. the interviewer is nice and genuine, and dave is such a down to earth and funny guy

DarthWolf Im getting a suit done at timothy everest who did his suits in Soecter. Speaking to the tailor he had nothing but good things for Dave and he sounds like a great guy. Became a fan after watching him in Blade runner.
She did a great job. She actually sounded interested in what he had to say.
Dave Bautista is a super star wrestler.. In spectre Dave Bautista fight train sequence really stunned us in seats ❤️❤️
Dave played the heavy so well inside the ring. What a villain he can be. He was a very tough opponent for the Bond film.

And now he is in Dune...crazy how far he has come.
I met Dave Bautista when I was like 8. Man was he a great guy. I never imagined him to be in these great big movies. I'm really happy for him.
She has genuine enthusiasm for the film
The fact that David could make This fight scene look so authentic is amazing... Daniel Craig could try as hard as he could but he has to work to be believable. For David he is just graceful with this.
Interviewer is so genuine :) BUT DAVE....Dayum Dave! I dont know this guy's personal life off camera, but what i get from this and all the interviews hes has done...he is so respectful, humble, articulate honest and just really genuine. Just comes through the interview.
I haven't heard anyone in Hollywood have anything bad to say about Dave. Seems like a cool dude
I've said this many times at this stage, but I don't think 'wrestler' when I see Dave. I think 'actor'. Wrestlers are tremendous athletes, but there is a drama portion to their job that works on a large scale, with large grand movements designed to work for a large crowd. When moving to the screen, most wrestlers have trouble adjusting to small, subtle acting. Dave can do that. He can convey emotion with a nod, a shrug, a glance, a tilt of the shoulders. He can do nuanced acting. With every role I see him in, I'm increasingly impressed, whether it's serious, comedic, action, whatever. He's nailing it.

Rekaert, i agree, well said. Dave has become a seasoned actor in a short amount of time. Everything he's in is worth watching.
What a sweet laid back guy, nothing like his (quite scary) character at all! He should be a recurring character in the franchise like Jaws in the Roger Moore Bond flicks of old.

Hinx was a total scene stealer!
Love how he got paid loads to do this movie, and his one and only line in the entire movie was simply, "...shit..." before he gets flung from the train. But that was one hell of a fight scene, even if it was quite short.
Very humble guy. This is what makes you last in the industry.
The animal Batista! he really deserved everything in his life. Keep going Dave. You're awesome!
Really would love for Dave (Mr Hinx) to return for the next Bond movie. And before people say he was killed we didn't actually see him die. Just imagine in the next movie Mr Hinx walks into a room from which Bond has just taken out some random goon's. Bond sees him standing at the door and all Bond can do is look in terror and say 'oh shit', because he knows his in for some pain. Bond needs a returning villain, a monster of a man that always beats him down leading to each fight with Bond fighting for his life.
@gqdaddy8544

+II DIRECTx II Absolutely. Bautista (Mr Hicks) made me believe he actually had a chance to "kill" Bond. His character seemed to be a survivor too. Bond needs that classic villain for hire who is just as hard to kill as Bond. Yeah, Hicks didn't die in my opinion. That dude is hard to kill.

+II DIRECTx II Agreed but, by then, they'd already made a joke out of Jaws anyway (biting a shark to death) and had left the kind of thing where he was stalking Moore and Bach in the desert far behind. The fight with Hinx was a throwback to the fight with Red Grant and it would be great if he returned - I think that they might have avoided showing his death to permit that possibility. The thing with the kegs being chained together, being systematically pulled out the door and eventually pulling Hinx out was "cute", however, because it's right out of the movie Jaws - ironically enough on Robert Shaw's boat.
Such a nice guy!
Great interviewer! Melissa Nathoo is impressive!
SUCH A NICE INTERVIEWER .. :) AND I HAVE NOTHING MORE THAN RESPECT FOR DAVE .. DUDE HAS MADE IT .. SUCH A DOWN TO EARTH GUY , I HOPE HE KEEPS GETTING THESE BIG ASS MOVIE ROLES .. :) WISH YOU ALL THE BEST BATISTA .. !!
Love you Batista!
Real class act, humble, great acting, action and by far the best Bond Villain!
Dave did a great job in this film, he was of course only a physical presence in Spectre but what a presence he was. The fight was one of the best in Bond history and really felt impactful. Daniel Craig was also awesome In this scene he really sold the invincibility of Mr Hinx and the desperation of Bond when fighting him. Think Mr Hinx will go down as one of the best henchmen in bond history.
after batista quit in wwe...i never watched it again..as a real fan...i just support his career...whatever it is..but his passion for wrestling is undeniable.hes still want to go back even if theres no money involved..just to get some adrenaline rush in stage with the wwe fans.GOD BLESS DAVE!
Bautista was a revelation in Guardians, way better than I expected. He seems like a cool guy too.
This video made me feel good because of how they treated each other. I like it.
It was a classic fight scene!! Great work!
Dave's such an awesome guy. I sat across from him one night in our local IHOP in Greenville SC after a wrestling show. He was with his wife or GF, not sure. HUGE man!
He got some immortal roles. That was him in Blade Runner I believe, farming protein and fighting for his life in far more sophisticated story line than any Bond caper.
Bautista is so positive and humble in his statements. Realy hope he keeps himself that way
Great interview! Journalist is a cutie.
interesting proposal that hinx could become jaws. I certainly enjoyed him in this film
Batista (Bautista) is half Filipino, half American, and I read and observed that Filipinos are great, amazing, hardworking honest citizens, so to be having that DNA in him, mean he's an amazing person! I'm rooting for Dave, he's an amazing guy for sure, more success to you Dave!
The more I Watch Bautista the more I like him...Very good guy...wish him all the Success in the World
Hopefully this movie opens plenty of doors for him. He's fun to watch in movies after seeing him wrestle for over a decade on wwf

A very remarkable Bond villain and what a completely humble guy,
Hinx was a nive role. But his part in Blade Runner, as Sapper Morton, really shows his commitment as an actor.
This guy is such a gentleman.

I just like how hes a completely different person out of the ring.Has a wiff of a gentleman around him.

The fight between Mr Hinx and Bond on the train is by far and away the best fight scene I've seen in a film... ...I'm hoping Mr Hinx comes back in the next, bit like Jaws used to do.

When I watched SPECTRE and I saw what his character was like, I immediately remembered Jaws and I feel like this character originally started as Jaws but he evolved to his own character which I'm glad for because Hinx is awesome! - I really hope he didn't die, I don't think he did anyway, I can picture Bond and Hinx meeting again at some point.
I've said it before, Dave is the best Bond henchman ever, such a shame Hinx didn't make it into No Time To Die.
great man, batista awsm both in movies & wwe
He should play Bane
this guy awesome
I never thought I'd see the day that Batista wore glasses
If Bautisa had been the main villain, Spectre would have worked far better. The whole Blofeld thing didn't work for Craig's Bond, whether in script or in casting. Forget Me Too, the biggest mistake No Time To Die made was remembering that Spectre existed at all as a movie.
he is a little like Jean Reno this guy has a kind heart
#DaveBautista PRIDE OF HOLLYWOOD !!!👑🇵🇭🇬🇷🇺🇸
I hope Dave gets more roles that push more for his dramatic complexity, hinx was not one of these. At least something like drax had a balance between phisycality and acting(which i found surprisingly great), i believe hes going to find his place in the industry

He should've had more lines in the Spectre.
What a gorgeous creature! She's ok too, I guess.
He was great in Guardians of the Galaxy. "My turds are famously large".
Cool guy.
Now I wanna see Batista go one on one with The Rock or Vin Diesel in a Fast and Furious movie.
she is in to him :D
Assuming he caught the bug from Wrong Side of Town
IF GUARDIANS GAVE HIM AN OPEN DOOR HE SHOULDNT LEFT THE FRANCHISE ON HIS OWN WILL I MEAN LET THE FRANCHISE HAVE PROPER TIMING FOR HIM TO LEAVE I FEEL THAT IS UNGRATEFUL OF HIM DOING SO
Maybe Hinx could have had his own Bond girl.
Seeing Dave like this.. I can confidently say that WWE didn't do justice to this guy. He should've been greater than Cena.
