This lowkey happened to me before. Smack down came down to Biloxi a few years back when edge had his edge look a-likes and ECW was a thing (Wanted to give y’all around what year it) and people caught him leaving so there’s 100’s of people trying to get a autograph and sure enough we tried and couldn’t really get through that crowd so I got discouraged but dudes like 6’5 so he saw over everyone and saw like the only kid (me) there sad because I couldn’t get to him because I’m wayyyyy to shy to just push people out my way so he kinda got everyone to make a way for me and talked to me for a second and gave me a free autograph on the ticket. My dumb 11 year old self lost the ticket 🤦‍♂️

Lord, that little girl is well spoken. She is what we would call an "old soul"- wise beyond her years. Dave, as usual, is likable and relatable as hell. His humility and soft-spokenness is very refreshing BTW, you are an excellent interviewer. You ask very interesting, personal questions and seem like you're really invested in the conversation. Damn I gained massive respect for Batista, I used to just watch him in WWE, he’s so painfully relatable with all the social anxieties, he’s a living proof that actions speak louder than words & that he’s getting all the best film gigs, that’s great, I’m also an aspiring actor so yeah.

Stories were told by wrestlers that Dave was shy and I never believed it until this interview

I think watching the movie 'my spy' made me see him very differently.. Shows how much society judges people wrongly. Good job guys.

Dave is very well spoken. Definitely a gentle giant.

Great interview, Bautista's so conscious, and the little lady so wise.

Man 24 here I was happy as a kid but at some point I started getting bullied so as the years went by I became more and more introverted. The only person who used to comfort me was my mother who is battling cancer and things are looking bleak. I quit my toxic job because it affected my mental health. I finished my studies regarding my new job with the highest mark but still my confidence didnt increase. Its been 6 months and still I couldnt find a job at what I like. So I developed severe depression and anxiety and I think that all these guys who belittled me over the years were right. I feel that the only thing that is keeping me is my mother. Hearing Dave talking about his issues made me feel better. We are not insane, we are just different.

Dave:' ive a history of being painfully shy' interviewer: proceeds to ask him tons of personal anxiety invoking questions .

I left wrestling when I was top...that's true words...such a humble beast 👍🙏💪💪

This makes me like him 1000x more

I could never imagine this guy as being shy. I would be terrified of even being around him he’s so big!

I never liked him in WWE, but that was because I had no idea it wasn't real. I absolutely adore him now. He makes me feel better about myself, knowing I'm not alone. It's comforting to know this big tough dude is just as shy and nerdy as I am. lol

So intriguing! I never watched wrestling, so I didn't know Bautista until his movies. My first reaction to your comment is to think that your strong dislike of his character in WWE is an indication of how great of an actor was even then. Someone who's a shy introvert, but their breakout role is a loud, aggressive, dislikable pro wrestler, is so surprising and impressive!

often the multiple teller will face immense backdraft at his own story... so in effect all artists are introverted. but it takes opportunity to come out of the shell. also need, because bautista said he wanted to act, maybe produce or direct, He is a multifaceted guy.
