"If minister don't ask me i suggest u don't ask me" think its beyond politics, there is confrontational style and being authentic, but there is also something called having a politician's filter, and this guy very obviously doesn't have it or prone to losing it. Behaviours like this would only dminish his credibility as an opposition and also his party.

The speaker should conduct himself in a fair and respectful way to ALL members of Parliament, and not only to those belonging to his party.

I see nothing wrong with the speaker asking him to clarify. He himself said that he said the 6 were guilty in parliament but did not say that in his facebook post. This begs the question "so you think guilty or not?", which the speaker asked. He then indirectly told the speaker to shut up, wah great man! So power! Not!

Leong said one thing in public and another in parliament. The Speaker sought clarification. Leong could not defend himself, felt embarrassed and got mad with the Speaker. Leong is just not up to the mark. How much nicer and more patient do we expect the Speaker to be towards Leong? It saddens me to see one whole lot of irrational comments here opposing the wrong things, supporting the wrong actions and behaviours.

PSP put a C team can still win 40% in GE2020 despite no rally during pandemic.. the only reason why he can win is because the opposition NEVER put an A Team in Yishun. In GE2011, WP put a weak team can still win 42% back then. I'm not sure where you get your delusional idea that he is very popular! :D many people call him Mr. Arrogant lah there

Because some areas the residents voted 60-65% opposition parties @ Aljunied and Hougang while some like in Sengkang were 53% or 49% at West Coast. in Yishun, it was 40% despite PSP being a new party with a bunch of minorities (4 out of 5) and only 1 Chinese candidate. if WP, a strong team of Dr Tan Cheng Bock or Jamus Lim contested in Yishun, it will be be an early retirement for any minister too.

I think as members of parliament spore, they just cannot make a decorum issue and then apologise for it. They should uphold very high standard of decorum as it is a mockery of personality conducted by high officials or representative of Singapore and essentially to desire for future and current generation singaporean a proper standard to learn from.

Don’t get work up cuz I understand where she is coming from. Do not allow her quick action judge her behaviour. The person you should consider is Leong. I find him rude and disrespectful.

Why we have such a person like Leong Mun Wai , is so poor in standards to be MP ? Why state something in FB but refuse to acknowledge he is alluding to something ? 😅gosh .......I love democracy debates and all that but in parliament some civility decorum must be there.

Interesting how politics have evolved in Singapore, from my own observation, it seems that the opposition is probing the PAP tolerance limits while trying to inch some ground with the masses. Times have changed and it is either adapt or meet failure.

Nothing is really fair in this world. Don't believe that of our laws n enforcers even.
