In that match they were playing like midfielders.....Spain played against 🇷🇴 with 5 centre backs🤷🏻‍♂️

Those were the days were people thought that with a sticker in your nose you could breathe more. Years later people believed that an invented germ could plague only the western world and a muzzle could keep you save from a horrible death. Many things age quite ridiculously. 😂😂😂😂😂

Que equipo que tenia Rumania por aquellos año, el de la Euro 96 era la base de USA 94, pensar que lo sufrimos en aquel Mundial. Hubiera sido lindo enfrentarlo en igualdad de condiciones, no con un equipo quebrado animicamente por la desafectacion de Maradona.

Había jugadores de calidad, pero nos comimos unos años 90 con equipos ciertamente competitivos y duros físicamente, pero feos.

No, todos esos jugadores españoles de los 90 eran medianías. Solo Luis Enrique, Hierro y luego Raúl estaban por encima de la media. Por eso la década del 90 fue lo que fue para el seleccionado español.

@@Aguz25 Nadal, Guardiola, el chiqui beguiristain eran cracks, pilares en el Barcelona campeón de Europa en el 92. Lo mismo Cañizares y Sanchís en el Real Madrid campeón de Europa 98. Solo por nombrar algunos.

Quizás no tuviéramos ningún gran fuera de serie, pero en general nuestras medianías eran mejores que las medianías de la mayoría de países. Y físicamente, y dando hostias como panes, éramos potencia mundial, ahí Clemente estuvo acertado, por eso cuando nos eliminaban era por los pelos.

@@miguelsantosandres131 Es verdad, aquellos equipos de España eran muy físicos. En general, la mala imagen del seleccionado español en los 90 se debe a Francia 98 y el desafortunado partido ante Nigeria con la cantada de Zubi. Pero eran muy competitivos. Como sea, no puedes negar que la gran estrella española de los 90 fue Raúl...eso ya es un decir.

​@@louisritnagellarsen687Romania at that time was better ranked than Spain, but before this match Romania was already eliminated because of the games lost with France and Bulgaria so many romanian football players treated this game as if it was already holiday. By the way, in the second game, with Bulgaria, Romania lost because of a huge referee mistake (Dorinel Munteanu scored but the referees did not see that the ball went in goal). If VAR would have existed back then, maybe Romania would not have been eliminated after just 2 games, and in this third game, with Spain, they would play better.

Si, es tremendo. Los dos centrocampistas son realmente dos centrales y Juanma López de lateral es prácticamente otro central. Es una locura. Era imposible ganar un torneo así. Así nos íbamos defendiendo hasta llegar a cuartos de final, y cuando nos tocaba ya enfrentarnos a las grandes selecciones nos mandaban para casa del tirón.
