This team was dominant just as I got into watching soccer over baseball. I knew they were good but I just did realize how historically good they were at first. I really appreciate being able to watch so many on their games.

Casillas, Ramos, Puyol, Xavi Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Torres, Silva, Fábregas, Villa, etc... Una increíble generación de jugadores excelentes que difícilmente podrá repetirse. I think you just have to be behind the ball when the pass is played in that situation. Check out Joselu's game-winning goal against Bayern in this year's Champions League. Even though he was behind Bayern's backline, VAR determined he was onside because he was behind the ball when Rudiger passed it. The goal stood, and Madrid advanced to the final.
