Having watched that entire match so many times, Brazil had their chances but simply could not find a way through the unbelievable on the day Fabian Barthez. Brazil didnt play badly but they met an incredible French team at home who put it all together when it mattered. It’s pretty much that simple.

Not at all. If observe brazil style of play, ball posession is the key. But in that match, diffenders where clearing the ball like a school team. Ball never reached midfield

@@RegiNC which defenders, Brazil’s or the French? Either way, if you want to keep the ball, you have to get it first. Brazil saw plenty of the ball in that match and got a little bit unlucky, Barthez was incredible in that final. France put it together beautifully in that final and they capitalised on Brazil maybe underestimating them.

Brazil played awesome tournament and got 2nd which is a great achievement. UNLUCKILY, Ronaldo was not fit and couldnt perform in the final. & on Contrary, Zidane played game of his life. But then again, Brazil came back in 2002 which was R9s game of life.Again, 2006 Brazil was full of superstars incl R9, Kaka, Adriano, Juninho, Roberto Carlos but couldnt create chances against France when it mattered. Overall, Brazil could've achieved more if R9 was fit.

Investigate what ? Those who watched it know It is just an allegation made by crybaby Cristiano fans. We saw the quality of football that made Messi and Argentina world champions. We saw the grit and grind of that Argentina team just because they believed in Messi and wanted Messi to lift that trophy. They made the best efforts for their leader and stood by him like soldiers. Those who did not see the world cup and those who hate Messi claim the world cup was rigged just because they are in denial can do nothing else to refuse Messi's greatness. Yes, I agree with you 100% because Ronaldo's Portugal themselves were part of the fishy deal for allowing themselves to be beaten by Morocco. Am sure Fifa scored that Moroccan goal and also told Holland and France to miss two penalties each against Argentina. Shame unto you, enemy of progress.

So why do you think the Brazilian parliament subpoenad the whole team the lost ? That's a first time in football over there, considering they wion the previous world cup, it wouldn't be a big deal for them to lose the next one. France bought the final and FIFA knows it.
