It was a top game back in the day. Iugoslavia had a great team. I celebrated Alfonso’s goal with my father. It was one of our best games until our golden years in EURO 2008, WORLDCUP 2010 and EURO 2012.

Amigo el Zaragoza ese año tenía un señor equipo,ganamos la liga nosotros (Deportivo) pero hasta la última jornada el Zaragoza tenía opciones (si perdían Deportivo y Barcelona)incluso ganó la copa al año siguiente al Celta.Quien nos ha visto y quien nos ve (el Deportivo peor todavía),Pero con esas aficiones detrás es cuestión de tiempo volver a nuestro sitio natural (1ª División)

Ovo je najveća kradja u istoriji fudbala!, bar koliko se ja sećam! Ušao sam samo da prokomentarisem, jer iako sam bio mali svega se napamet sećam, pogotovu onog usranog sudije koji je pustio da se igra čak sedam minuta nadoknade bez ikakvog razloga i čim je Alfonso dao gol on je svirao kraj! Takvu namestaljku nisam video ni u našoj srpskoj ligi! Čoveče to je bila očigledna kraja naočigled milionskog auditorijuma i niko to nije ni pomenuo, a sad fifa ili uefa nam nešto pametuju i kažnjavaju nas sramota! Jebena stoka, a kakvu smo tad reprezentaciju imali!!!

You need to step out of your basement and see the real life. You are creating your own reality and embarrasing yourself. 1. This was 2006, 7 years after the war in Kosovo. 2. Yugoslavia(Serbia) was the country that started all those terrible wars. Their own country was not even hurt before the bombing from NATO in 1999.

Two best matches on EURO '00 - Slovenia vs Yugoslavia 3:3 (Yugos played with 10 men and equalized after 0:3) and Spain vs Yugoslavia (red card for Milosevic). An equalizing 3:3 penalty for Spain was clinical picture of robbery.

Fun Fact due to Spain winning this match Spain ended up first in the group and Yugoslavia second. Because of that Spain ended up facing France the eventual winners of the euro with zidenine zidane. So really even if the penalty was absolutely non existent Spain kinda helped Yugoslavia as they faced Netherlands instead(Although that match ended pretty bad for Yugoslavia)

How about Stam penalty on Jugović in 1998 or CR7 disallowed goal vs Serbia in 2021? That’s all football. Don’t be a spoiled crybaby.

Although the end really stank (narrow Spanish victory had both teams advance), it was a great game to watch. Serbia-Montenegro (which was really "Yugoslavia" in 2000) had an amazing team back then...

I remember this game as it stands out as been a fantastic game. Two very talented teams and technically excellent. It was attack after attack. Not sure who got sent off but Michalovic was a dirty player. One of the dirtiest I've ever seen.

I recommend Valencia 4-2 Barcelona 2000 UCL semi final first leg .. one of the best matches I've seen
