Space Station Silicon Valley [11] Jungle Jumps

Ойындар

Some of these jumps are really awkward, and when I miss them I don't even understand why. And then I have to backtrack sometimes pretty far with a very slow character.

Some of the animals give me strong Hanna-Barbera vibes. Like the way the gorilla walks or the hyena's face.

    1. Mostly you've dealt with most of the animals just a few highly weaponized hyenas and elephants to worry about now. Not much of a plot going on here aside from precise platforming... 2. Only to find out that wasn't the last of the animals and there's a temple of doom chock full of Mechanimals that would take forever for Evo to deal with normally. Yep all gimmick levels have their problems... this one is shoot everything moving and get the Evo part. Also this is the one time Dan actively does something and you are not playing as Evo. --- Truth is, Evo was just retrieving his legs from the temple using the chameleon form to sneak by the tons of murderous mechanimals that Dan shoots up, but can't actually fight back against the hovering camera so why does he even bother with shooting them? Because one might be Evo in disguise. So Evo intentionally makes Dan angry and spends most of his time moving underneath the hovering camera invisibly while Dan clears a path for him... so if you are wondering why it requires a high score to get the Evo part, well Dan is unintentionally helping EVO through everything and Evo actually got him to do some work. Which is why at the end, the part actually comes out of Evo So Walrace 64 when?

I have fuzzy memories of the aiming in the rail-shooter stage being way easier if you're firing behind you for whatever reason, but that you needed to get good at aiming forwards to get a good score. Nice job wrangling the joystick setup there Naka! That stuff feels like mad science to me, but I could frickin' _see_ the improvement after. :D

I see what they did there Jungle Jumps instead of Japes. Get it, GET IT? Yeah, me neither. On a sperate note the hyena bikers are pretty cool looking, feels inspired by Ed Roth's art style (No I didn't have look up his name. You have no proof!)

That "rail shooter" stage was certainly interesting, though I can see how it would be a pain to aim without a proper analog stick. And, I'm guessing you need at least 10000 points when you complete the trip in order to be able to shoot EVO's chameleon. (Would've been nice if the game told you what the score quota was, or set the default high score to 10000 instead of just 1000.)

Time to finish the jungle! That last stage was a bit of a odd choice(Although I wouldn't know what to do outside of smoothing it out).
