Oh, I just have to throw in my two cents here. My mom's dad was a 6th grade drop-out, a son of a Ukrainian immigrants and a truck driver. He set out to help my mom with some of her homework. She said he scratched his head, used a little logic and tried to help her. Embarrassed, she brought the results to school the next day.... to discover that he got her algebra homework right. My mom still downplays her intelligence, but I'm the engineer son who benefited and so did her grand-children. Simple man, grandpa, but thanks for the good genes.

You LOOK out yo outfit? Could have sworn that it was called TOOK out... I usually plan my work outfit the night before the next work-week day... Standard drill. For special occasions? Just look into my ~ 20+ feet of closet pole space, not counting the 4-feet of coats. Always prep the night before. Clothes, nylons, jewelry, shoes, overcoat, weather predictions, etc. Hmmm. Not so keen on peeps who cannot complete a sentence properly structured. Dunno why, dewds and dewdettes... lol! Something about lazy eloquence, articulation on a superlative level, eXpecially failure to complete a sentence properly structured, bragging about being poor or playing the black card. ALL LIVES MATTER ASK JESUS... RED AND YELLOW, BLACK AND WHITE... ALL ARE PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT... ALL, NOT JUST BLACK. ALL Lives Matter! ALL Lives Matter! That's why He went to the Cross... for ALL of us. If God and His only Son came to save us ALL, then why is there so much hatred still in existence??? A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW, WE'LL ALL BE THE SAME COLOUR! Yay, and PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME! G.O.Y. It rhymes with boy. Stands for G ET O VER Y O-SELF. DOES ANYONE ELSE HERE HAVE "JESUS GLASSES", where we can actually see each other through His eyes, as He hangs on His Cross in agony for our sins... ? We ARE ALL loved by Him. Can I hear an AMEN? Anyone? My heart and soul are breaking for the hatred consuming our Nation. Stand strong, my eternal brothers and sisters in Christ! Stay safe, ok? 😪 ⚘ 🕯🙏❤🙏🕯 ⚘ 😥

So grateful to have him and his family around to help teach me what I needed to know to start raising our baby healthy and safe! Somehow we are all children until we become parents! Lol....fasted a LOT when I was growing up, for extended periods. Ppl thought I was anorexic (83 lbs at 16 yrs age). I was just starving. After a year tho I got used to eating only twice a week.

He has never been so truthful when it comes to getting old, last week Tuesday I bent down to pick up a sack of potatoes and pulled my back out, that went away but the next day my right leg started hurting, four several days now, I ended up having what is called Iliotibial band syndrome, which is a pulled muscle on the side of the leg between the hip and knee. It will heal with ice and rest but it hurts, did I mention that I'm 62?

🤣That is sooo me with food! 5'10" 145 lbs and I'm always planning my next meal. Any time I'm actually cooking for myself it's always with music blasting in my ears and a beer in my hand...except when my older people tendencies win out and it's a podcast instead lol

Kaboom cereal? We had puffed wheat or shredded wheat cereal - a half cup of either could soak up twenty gallons of milk and still be drier than old hay bales.
