The BUDDS hell week is a part of the selection process to be accepted for SEAL training. It is not part of the actual training. The applicants cheering know that because hell week is over, only about 30% or less will actually progress to SEAL training. Most have failed!

Our ship was part of seal training session. We were told they would would be swimming in from 10 miles away and would be trying to board us and another 3 or 4 ships. So we had men spaced 20 feet apart, and they still got aboard. Our people would feel a finger go across their throat or a jab in the kidney and the chilling voice saying You're Dead. Our ships deck was 25 ft above the water, anchor chains, lines to the pier, the gangway everything was covered, they still got aboard. Ghosts man, scary Ghosts, glad l was down below, l would have crapped myself if they had done it to me.

The reason he said seals us AKs is because they’re trained to use foreign weapons but typically they don’t use those but it actually started in vietnam when seals did use AKs and the reason the used them was because they were typically getting into firefights in really thick dense jungles where you could be really close to someone but still couldn’t see them so the enemy would rely on sound they would fire in the direction of where the American m16 rifles were firing from so they would just use AKs to make it hard for the enemy to differentiate friendly and enemy forces because all of the weapons being fired were now the same

In one raid, the operatives had a recording of a voice of a small child crying for help in Arabic. The father, the terrorist target, came out of his bedroom to see what was wrong. He stepped out of his bedroom in a robe and slippers with no gun. That was a mistake. Three SF operatives were there to greet him in his hallway. They did not forget their guns. They use complex Psychops with recorded sounds, holographic visual projections, false vibration generators, and anything else that will give you misdirection, bad data, or false security.

You're absolutely correct in feeling a respect beyond the normal when you're discussing Navy Seals, Army Rangers, Night Stalkers or Marine Special Units called Raiders and RECON Units for very special missions. All of these men do not behave, think or act like normal everyday joes. They are simply the best of the very best, are fearless, sincere, driven and move and work like fine robots with a brain. I also stand at awe and salute all of the above. America wouldn't be here without them as far as I'm concerned. They are well thought of and feared by militaries around the world.

Most countries the SEALs go to will use the AK-47 so it is good to have "native weapons". It is easier to find ammunition and "spare" guns. If everyone's gun sounds the same it makes it harder to determine where the enemy gun fire is coming from.

AND they will NOT leave a brother behind.. Some folks think they are crazy. I think they are well trained and just want to succeed. This is a little cheesie - " mess with the best, DIe like the rest!!!!"They are very well conditioned and have several advanced skills!!!! They are creatures of water, land, and the air!!!! I hope you enjoy this video!!! It is my understanding that HELL-WEEK is as close to combat as they can get you without killing you. Yea, the video you are reacting to uses an AI generated voice and is very poor at explaining what a Navy SEAL actually is and does. There are many specialized forces in the US military and can be individually pulled for a specific mission and these missions are designated by a number. They can combine elements from different military units such as a few SEALs, a Ranger, a couple of MARSOC, a PJ (Para-rescue), and a few Delta guys. They no longer work for their specific branch of government, but now they temporarily work for the CIA or whatever branch needed them. These are the missions that are the real heavy duty stuff. Like get rid of Osama Bin Laden. It wasn’t just SEAL Team 6 like you commonly hear. It’s a patchwork of different branch’s special forces combined. It’s really scary stuff they do. Assassinations, Kidnappings, anything that needs to be done to bad guys with a gun. Task Force ____ (fill in the blank for specific mission)

The US Navy doesn't have dedicated rescue units . The US Navy conducts Search and Rescue ( SAR ) and Combat Search and Rescue operations ( CSAR ) with regular forces . The US Air Force is the best at rescuing personnel with their PJs by helicopters . The US Navy SWCC boat teams are the best asset in coastal area .

You should watch the movie, Act of Valor. It is about the Navy SEALS and featured real, active-duty SEALS in the movie. One of the guys, Derrick Van Orden, is now a US Congressman. I hate these AI narrators but it is the very poor future we face since they work for free. AI will put millions out of work and replace them with a poor simulation of a human being.
