I see the comments are full of people who do not understand that South Africa is one of the few countries where slaves were not taken out. But people were brought in. Indians, Malaysians , Indonesians, Portuguese then you mix the English and Dutch with African flavours and i tell you when it comes to flavour not even india will touch us with curry

Indians were brought to South Africa over 150yrs ago. I might add that some of our curries will outdo some curries from India due better quality 0f meat and a mix of cultures

I’m Indian. And I saw who cares, bruv. We don’t know the true genesis of anything, and even if we did what does it matter? If one is truly secure with their culture, they will appreciate renditions of things from others as well. 🤷🏽‍♂️
