@@Daniel-qu2kh they either tone it down or crank it to 11 and start shouting angrily when you cant understand what they say (from experience working in a hotel, a lot of south african visitors go full on with there accents and will cause a scene if you ask them to "repeat that please" it once got one waitress fired from our staff)

As a South African who now lives in Britain and who enjoys both South African AND British snacks (and has eaten all of the above) I totally agree with all of Tyla’s picks (except for koeksusters - I LOVE koeksusters). I do think they could have got a better example of a sausage roll though 😂

They are! Yes, ok, £7 for a box of those Easter eggs is ludicrous, but we can get them here. I'm about to have some biltong now (again, very expensive, but really good!). You can get koeksisters, milktart, peppermint crisp, etc, but yeah, it's expensive.

I could never be happier that Tyla's finally on LADbible snack wars. It's like music to the ears when she's talking. Her energy is adorable and lovely, her bubbly persona compliments well with the cheery crew. And I'm obsessed with her british accent istg, she ate that DOWN.

Then she shouldn't be in a show that is literally about "trying food". And it's edible stuff, not poison. She might not like the taste, there might be new spices but she isn't going to die. If everyone was like this, no one would try any other cuisine other than their own country's. Makes for very limited life experience.

I don't like the rating system but she is a 10 if there is one. Dayum.

No one can beat South African food. Anywhere. I have friends and colleagues in the US, all over parts of Europe, have family that's in Australia and the one thing that everyone agrees on, is that no one comes close to South african food or snacks. It's what they miss most.

I don't see the point of comparing between someone's native dishes and another cuisine. Most people are not interested in experimenting and always say they like their own country's food best, which is completely understandable but it makes for a boring watch if you're going to make faces at every dish of some other country. Same thing happened with Margot Robbie's video. They don't even taste the other stuff and says, "Oh I know I'm going to like my own country's stuff best". It's boring
