Chris Cornell is not just the greatest singer, he is also a great lyricist almost every song he wrote the lyrics, check he’s solo stuff I highly recommend (Seasons - Chris Cornell)
@petecatalano3843 Жыл бұрын
Chris is the GOAT of rock singers, past and present. He has a huge library of material of diverse styles with three different bands and solo work. His covers of Beatles stuff during his solo career are epic for just an acoustic guitar. Look up ticket to ride live, you won't be disappointed

What i love to see is this guy hear his first Soundgarden song and get hooked. 1994 i was just 9 years old and remember Black Hole Sun coming on MTV.

Yes! Love this! And yes that’s him singing all the parts (per your question). For a totally different side check out some of his solo songs. Seasons (Studio Jam version) When I’m Down (live at the Troubadour) Sunshower (album version) 🙂

Your reactions to Chris Cornell’s works are by far my favorite. You appreciate every nuance - lyrics, melody, his vocals… There are some videos you haven’t gotten to yet that you might enjoy, including another live version of “Like A Stone” that I think is his most heart wrenching performance: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o6SAs9huqK-fdMY.html Also, you might find it amusing to hear the account Tom Morello (Audioslave guitarist) gives regarding how he met Chris Cornell and how Chris came together with Rage Against the Machine to form Audioslave: kzread.info/dash/bejne/Yn1527yEnJDLpZM.html.
