But if you watch the Grammy ceremony at the time when they received their recognition Chris said to the audience "we are a metal band ..." Personally I enjoy the band's music and Chris' voice so much that it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. However many fans do consider them metal, so I leave it at that!

To me more like Black Sabbath, highly influenced even, expecially songs like this one, but that's what I love so much, those ultra heavy slow guitar riffs upon those genius non-standard time signatures.
damn, i love this song. doesn't hurt that chris was so easy on the eyes 💝. this whole album is incredible.
