This sentence is a miscarriage of justice. She murdered this woman. It wasn't manslaughter. It wasn't self defense. It wasn't accidental. It was deliberate and intentional. She knew exactly what she was doing when she pointed the gun at that innocent woman. I think the judge's opinion that she isn't a bad person is completely wrong. How can he say that after what she did?

The sentence is unbelievable, yes, but this judge isn’t bad if you find videos of her addressing some other cold blooded killers… such as Lauren Courtney, the psycho 22 y/o babysitter who was filmed by security cameras beating & kicking a five yr old boy, Ryan peralto, to death. She then got Mickey D’s and went home. But was busted on camera. Judge Bluth went in on her, told her the truth, and didn’t say anything about being a “good” person! Lol! Should’ve done the same here tbh, and the sentencing is borderline British or Canadian status, i.e. lenient AF.

I agree with the 15-20. I don’t agree with the comments saying life. It takes two parties to escalate things to this degree. The video clearly shows a women driving up aggressively and getting out and walking aggressively. There is probably a lot more to their relationship that we don’t know. That being said, she should not be dead right now. The homeowner made a very poor decision.

It's quite obvious. The woman was leaving after showing her visible frustration with the homeowner. Video and audio footage show no signs of a physical altercation on the property which would warrant such a response. The homeowner clearly was enraged and let a temporary situation turn into a permanent one. She made the conscious effort to retrieve her weapon, take it off safety, aim her weapon, and pull the trigger to shoot and kill someone who posed no threat to her, which was off the grounds of her property: the street. Is there a different death state for someone who is murdered vs someone murdered by the state? Both are listed as "homicide" on the death certificate whether executed or murdered. I'm sure the victim will appreciate the difference, but they're still DEAD. Is the penalty for going for a ride death? The perp left the crime scene. Maybe if they stayed and tried to render aid the victim might not have died . . . and maybe they were too injured to survive, but the perp didn't even try. As far as penalty for murder 1 . . . I couldn't tell you but I'm sure it depends on the state and prosecutor. In my state, life is cheap and the killers get slaps on the hand. Now we know of another one where the criminal enjoys more rights than the victim.

Who the fuck goes and grabs a damn gun over taking someone else's child to school without the parents permission? A simple "I'm sorry and no harm was intended" probably would have diffused most if not all the tension created. She like so many people these days can't be wrong. So scared to possibly take an ass whooping not that one would have been justified, but the fear of getting smacked overrode her damn sense. That gun really made her feel tough, now she can be tough in prison for a few years. Hope she get's that glock dookie treatment. Where is the law in Nevada? Public safety goes after old allegations that don’t require registration but in their sorry state they force people to register and when murderers kill somebody they get the least amount of punishment like this here? That is an assumption that makes no sense. #1 The murderer is not the parent and has no right to take anyone’s child anywhere without the parent knowing, that is called kidnapping (which is a crime, everywhere). #2 The murderer is not responsible for the child, the mother is. #3 The murderer does not know the child’s medical history which is very important. For all the murderer knew, the child may have had certain medications that needed to be consumed during the school day. The aforementioned are 3 very good reasons not to do what you assume is a favor, especially if what you do involves someone’s child.

Here in the U.K. she would have been charged and convicted of murder. I don’t understand how someone getting in their vehicle, unarmed and moving away from the scene, who is subsequently shot dead could possibly be considered an act of manslaughter.

I would need to understand more about why the shooter gave the victim's kids a ride to school in the first place. Were her children friends with the victim's children? Did the two women even know each other? There is a back story here - I didn't watch the trial. Why did the shooter follow the victim out to her van? 3-8 years in prison for cold blooded murder? How is this manslaughter?

Well, it was a dumb girl working there.

What in bloody hell is wrong with people!?! How on earth is this killer getting such a light sentence? Please tell me I missed something or perhaps this is just a dream. There’s no way this can be. Judge lady, yes she is a bad person! An evil, murderous, BAD PERSON. Just wait until the victim is one of YOUR loved ones. Then see if this seems fair. I’m absolutely appalled! God have mercy on us all.

Appeal that sentencing. That’s ridiculous!

Definitely a monster. Those left in the wake of this tragedy.. my heart breaks for them. I cannot imagine the grief her children are experiencing. 💔

She was never suppose to have a gun wrong time to use a weapon no threat of life everything should of been handled in a conversation, she couldnt be an adult how shockening she will get what she deserves for taking this woman out.

How is that justice? Five years for murder? Ridiculous!

@@leetraviusmckay314 I like Henry Ruggs. I am an Alabama Fan. I remember him playing. Good player. I wish him the best, but the lady was burned alive. I don't understand this situation. I will have to read it again.

Did I hear correctly? 3 to 8 years for murder? This is a miscarriage of justice. Outrageous!

Why does every murder, violent crime and DUI resulting in death always get offered a plea deal ? Open and shut slam dunk case’s get offered plea deals, I totally don’t get it ? Are our courts just to lazy to actually have any trials ?

Various reasons, including the risk of not actually convicting due to lack of evidence. A deal would be better than them being released and getting away with it.

@@daystoliv yes, I totally understand the reasoning for plea deals, but respectfully my statement/question was “why does EVERY CASE get a plea deal” is our justice system and prosecutors so inept and incapable of winning even a single case that EVERY CASE gets a plea deal ? As far as your statement that “a deal is better than them getting released and getting away with it” that is exactly what a deal is, they get away with it by gaining a much lesser sentence only to be back on the streets much sooner and committing more crimes.

What justice is deaf,dumb, & blind enough to give a few years in prison to someone who took the life of a mother of five. Disgusting!!!

Only 3 to 5 years in prison? Are you kidding me? The court system is far too soft with this person.

She’s a monster! Poor decisions does not begin to define what this monster did to this family. She made a decision to get her gun…follow the woman and then shoot her. It was premeditated. What else could it be? She got into an argument then decided to pick up her gun and shoot the woman. She meant to kill her!!! But she does have the complexion for the connection to get off easy. SMH! I hope she gets a taste of real justice in prison

I'm sorry 3-8 years for KILLING someone? This judge should not be on the bench. Edit: How did that not get 1st degree? She went and got the gun (a conscious choice), came back, pointed the gun and shot. DA should be fired too. Absolutely disgusting. And how in gods name is killing someone eligible for probation? What the hell is wrong with this world.

Only 3-8 years is crazy. Those family and friends wouldn't even be close to finish grieving when she gets out. Crazy how she only got a slap on the wrist. Another example of if she would of been a man she would not be seeing the outside of a prison ever again.

The shooter is the one that dropped the kid off. I think.

That sentence is an insult to the woman who was killed, and to the family. Disgraceful!

Nobody is questioning what happened when that girl went in her house? Tried to run off like people do when they think you won’t hit them because their back is turned. She was the aggressor but unfortunately they had to give her something and I’m sure she truly feels she did nothing wrong.

@raymondezell7817 The victim was the aggressor, she and her boyfriend drove to the other woman's house to confront her. The other woman was living with the (victim) children's father. It's so stupid to get upset and violent because dad's new girlfriend gave your children a ride to school. 😢

@@sandravega6645 That makes perfect sense, now. I was wondering why she was so mad. It was personal. Which would explain why the girl that shot her retaliated so hard. Yeah…this isn’t as sweet and simple as people would like for it to be. We all know how petty and sadistic it can get in that type of situation. I’m just wondering if taking the bait, cost her her life.

@@raymondezell7817 It's heartbreaking that these children will grow up without their mother. What is interesting is that the news makes no mention of the children's father (the victim's ex). Those babies will be raised by the mother's family. There was obviously lots of bad blood and much unnecessary drama in this family dynamic. What a horrible example for the children caught in the middle. 😥💔

That’s murder! Man these prosecutors are lazy! They offer her a plea so they don’t have to work to prove to the jury it was murder. That’s pure laziness and complete disregard for human life.

We can only hope that scumbag gets hers in prison And the judge sounds ridiculous
