This poor girl's mother is a sociopath. How could she not struggle with MI? I pray she grows up, goes grey rock, and gets away completely.

Does anyone else find it odd that her mom is always present? I mean I know she’s a kid and her mom should always be around esp. when she’s with a doctor, but I’ve never seen Sophia with her friends or anyone else *without* Farrah.

Sophia is under 18. I’ve been to therapy as a kid. A child who is under 18 CANNOT be alone with a doctor, therapist, etc. they need to have a parent or a guardian present at the session.

Actually that’s not true at all. Therapists can see children if parents agree. An adult has to drop off & pickup but they can be seen in a private room.?

Yes I feel so much for that poor girl. I can't imagine having a sociopathic parent. Especially a sociopathic mother figure, who traditionally should be the more loving and compassionate of the parents. This girl completely missed out on a loving mother, and her father passed when she was in utero. It's a tragedy and I hope when she gets older, she gets out from under her mother's control. I know a lot of us would support her, even financially. Poor, poor, sweet girl. She's still such a kid.

You should also look into the toxic environment this child had and still has to endure and her mother’s parenting choices …..

This is so sad watching how these girls choices were passed down the generation. I truly wish Farrah and her whole family could have gotten mental health care and broke the cycle.

Sophia never standed a chamce with Farrah as a mom. We could all see it on Teen Mom.

I did notice Farrah is more cautious with Sophia, like if Sophia were to set some barriers. Which is good. I hope everything goes well!

Stop trying to be the doctor, Farrah. The appt is about Sophia not, you! Hopefully, she had lab work done to check to see if, she is deficient in certain minerals and vitamins before putting her on something. Depression can also be helped with vitamin D3 and magnesium. Especially, if you're not getting adequate sunshine. Her home environment can also, add to her depression. It's really difficult to see our young people suffering. I'm glad he added therapy. Hopefully, Farrah stays in the waiting area. Great job, Dr.

I think Farrah is probably Sophia’s #1 issue and probably her biggest trigger. You can tell by the way she looks at her. I don’t like the way Farrah talks to Sophia. I hope Sophia is able to see a therapist OFF camera and AWAY from her mom so she can be 100% honest. Farrah, don’t be surprised if Sophia totally cuts you out of her life. That poor girl… On another note, I love how Sophia went from Farrah’s little spoiled princess, to her own person. I personally love the “emo” look; total opposite from what Farrah made her wear before. And you can tell Farrah isn’t impressed by it. Sophia seems extremely polite & intelligent, too. I pray she becomes stronger, continues to be unique and her own person. Not what Farrah wants to mold her as!

It baffles me the way Farrah calls herself a damn good mother. I almost can't watch this. But I just want to pull Sophia through the screen if I had that power and give her a hug. I dont have any kids, and it's too late for me, and I just get so angry when I see this mother daughter relationship. She doesn't know how to be a mother. She just uses that kid, and it is bullshit

ADHD is a Neurotype aka a brain name. IT ISN’T AN ILLNESS OR DISEASE ! Her brain works differently. She’s is Neurodivergent. So if she cannot be who she is (masking) and understand how her brain works then she will be depressed. I feel extremely sorry for the mother she has and I hope one day she separates herself from the toxicity. You can see her (mother) facial expressions as Sofia is talking. The exploitation needs to stop or I see Sofia sinking into a worse state of depression.! She also doesn’t need CBT if she’s ADHD . She needs to learn about herself through other Neurodivergent creators advocates out there.

wouldn't looking into the amount of sugar & processed junk food she ingests be one of The Biggest places to start looking to reduce these symptoms?

@@Mistydawn1 I had that until I was 50 & then all the stress & damage from eating junk all day everyday caught up with me in the form of autoimmune disease rheumatoid arthritis & BAM!! Now I am like so many others... I gain weight 'looking' at food! 🙃😜 Days of fun & games, size 5-7, & 100% carbs are over. Need to get on nourishing while it will still do some good. These kids aren't gonna make it nearly as long as I did!

@@arleneshepler9180 actually Sophias problem might be all these people speaking on her mother and her , because she is not on TV anymore,but really Sophia is a teenager and everyone post stuff,but u don't have millions of people talking crap about ur mom,her ,her parents relationship,or anything like that, so that has got to be tough and I know ur going to say its Farrah fault again or her lifestyle,why follow someone or their child just to talk bad about them , and see I don't think some of these post stuff expecting it to be put out to the world just their followers, and then they have to respond defending themselves and that's got to be tiring, do I think Sophia therapy session should have been shown,I wouldn't do it myself but maybe because she is in the public eye maybe to make others realize she is human and maybe to help other kids like her
