wave Definitely the XB40 will be slightly better (not on the highs unless you tweak the EQ)

You should do this against the charge 4 man that'd be awesome

It would be much more interesting to compare with charge4,motion+, etc.

xb33 sounds better and if you really need to stretch the battery out you can switch it to stamina mode

XB-32 had a problem. When you put it on a max volume, it loses its bass, like completely. Is it the same with XB-33?

Xb32 placed in a corner has such a deep thumb, really good lows , you said the xb33 doesn't do this as well, any ideas why?

Andyguy Because it’s passive radiators are located on the sides unlike the XB 32 which positioned on the back. So you can’t amplify base from like a wall unless you put it to a corner wall lol

Strange here you show the modes from the srs xb but in the video jbl vs Sony you didn't show it and to some people who listen to the video they can hear a different sound from the Sony speaker that there are badder than normal🤔

No, these are bluetooth only speakers. You may be able to find a device like the Chromecast Audio (they are not made any more but there are devices that do the same thing, which is convert a Bluetooth signal to an AUX jack.) But I don't know if the Chromecast Audio or a device like it will do exactly what you want so do your own research.

Mine paired with my Dell laptop no problem! All these new XB speakers have BT 5.0. If your laptop is using an older version of Bluetooth, u could have problems pairing it.

About 10 hours or so. But to truly enjoy this speaker, u gotta have it in EXTRA BASS or LIVE.

I have xb33 on sale about 90$ But i like how it looks in person Very bassie Yes i turn off lights and fix battery issues But i have a question that if i connect with Samsung phone and speaker sounds thin and unbalanced and very weird bass around 70hz But with ipad sound smooth and bassie also balance Have anyone have that issues or just me😢

honestly, ive had both and in my opinion ( guy who loves bass and mids), the xb 30 sounds better, and i like the classic look better

I gotta go with the new one. Used the xb30 daily for years and it may be a bit punchier but the new xb33 just sounds better to me. I used one for a week and then got another one. Considering getting two xb43s but might go for studio 6 instead.

All the Sony XB speakers have that battery life voice prompt. But if u install the Sony Music Center app, u can turn it OFF if it annoys u.

Thanks for ur reviews i bought XB 33 and its great. Best buy in the price tag! You can also charge ur phone with XB 33. I would urge people not to sound test it with XB 43 as its higher in price hence its like 20% louder than 33 it will make u to struggle with ur choice and u will keep thinking 33 isnt loud, i did this mistake and it took sometime to come out of 43 zone. 33 is a great balanced choice less price good loudness and crystal clear clarity the illumination of lights are added bonus. I compared it with JBL something 5 (i guess it was charge 5) and it was tremmering at high volumes while XB 33 is great at high volumes and i use it for only full volume full eq and its great.

The xb21/31/41 series was a downgrade in terms of sound quality compared to the 20/30/40 series, I personally have owned an xb20 which I loved, and a xb31 which I kind of hate. Do you think that this line of speakers is the best sounding Sony has made yet? Also, great job on your review, keep it up 🔥

The xb40 Only have a little more bass, I have the xb40 , xb41 and 21 , and the 41 and 21 have less bass, but have much better high frequency response and have party booster , is really good to impresive your friends😂(sorry my English, is too basic but works a little) the xb40 have a bass powerful and I love that too

I had the xb20 and still have the xb31,imo it sound good enough even tho the charge 4 is better sounding,the xb31 is much louder then the jbl soo yea.And about the xb20,it was a great speaker but its battery kept dying(3 times i had to replace the speaker just cuz its battery)

Xb33 vs charge 4 pls

I’m still a little conflicted about this speaker. Although it sounds great it seems to be not as powerful as the xb32 but has a deeper yet hollow bass. It still sounds better than a charge4 but less power.

Maurice I just bought a soundcore rave neo that destroys them all possibly even the mighty motion +. I returned the xb33. The rave neo crushes it.

I find it insane that the real-world battery lives of all three of the new speakers are pretty much the same.

I just bought a xb 33 and I bought a xb 32 for my brother bc it was on sale for 80 . i got myself the 33 because at the store it sounded amazing ! but compare to the xb 32 i found it lacking in something. yea the sound is richer but bass is weird its like hallow or something. I ended up returning it and getting the 32 fot 80 bucks and I'm happy with it!

That's why I'm returning the XB43 I bought, I thought bass would be an improvement from my XB32, but it doesn't actually improve much imo, just more airy/hollow

I actually think alot of people skip over how useful stamina mode is, when your outside and dont need as much bass but need more pronounced highs and mids and need the speaker to last longer it is very useful unless your truly picky about your sound 24/7 but with the improved battery it shouldnt be a huge deal regardless, i used stamina even on my xb23 and i enjoyed it more for certain genres as well, just a thought

I know I'm late to the party... I recently bought a pair of XB23's & when I heard about the multiple (up to 100) connected speakers I thought "Wouldn't it be cool if it had 2.1 stereo connectivity & have an XB33 as the subwoofer", maybe in the next generation!!?

My JBL charge 3's speaker recently started cracking. I bought the xb33 on sale at best buy and returned it because it didn't feel as loud as it should have been. Voices in music was hidden under instrumental and Bass seemed week for the price

I have the JBL CHARGE 3. Nothing comes close for sound quality, battery life, louder than JBL CHARGE 4, Mine still sounds amazing. Just re buy that model. Ps I also have a Sony XB41 also a good loud,Speaker with good sound and lights.

Try Anker Soundcore Motion+ (Amazon) if you want to replace JBL. I personally prefers XB32 because it has better vocals and looks better too

@@Calvini2013 I most definately prefer the look of the Sony XB41. Real Disco lights. It's not as trebely but has more base and much louder than the xb32. I really dont like the new design lights of the xb32 infact. I can also adjust the highs thru graphic equaliser. So great loud sound with bigger battery!!

No i guess not, xb30 against xb32 wins in loudness so i guess it will on xb33 too. edit:my recomendation tho maybe get anker soundcore motion+ or sony xb30

Amazon sells it cheaper.

Unfortunately it is a deal breaker as it doesn't connect with xb41 gen or Xb32 gen I.e Party Chain. Also no longer charges your devices or takes calls. No more charging thru USB, needs a dedicated USBC CHARGER. No aux output, Sony are just trying to cut corners and make more money so you can buy the 3 latest models. GREED!! Nearly bought one.

Three hours of battery life killed it for me

The problem with the 33 is that is look SHITE!!!
