Ool video again but nobody ever talks about losing their cars original clock or isn't it an issue does the wiring kits join onto the power to keep the clock as .mine you have to adjust the time with Buttons on headunit could you please advise me about this thanks subscribed keep up the good vids!!

Guys, I am leaning towards the AX5650, got everything I need. Only one thing though. Is there anything on the market where no cable needed and it is possible to connect only wirelessly for Apple Carplay? Cheers

I just bought the AX3250. I would have lived a glass screen but couldn’t justify the price to stick in a 2009 FN2 that I daily. So long as apple CarPlay is smooth and I can change the colour to red I’m happy.

Your video is actually more informative than the Sony website.. Havent seen wireless carplay Sony units on the European market yet. Are they coming?

I haven't got an answer for you Casey. I wish we did. We've got a solid relationship with Sony but they've told us nothing.

Have you played with the new Sony 9500es? I'm curious how much better it is and worth the price.

Ok I have the 1500 , I think I need the 5650 obviously for it's output voltage and rca connects.skar Single 15 d 2 , sundown 1000.1 , 2 JBL 4*6 rear , 2 boss 6.5 mid front , 2 omc GMC tweeters . This 1500's output voltage -55*4 isn't accurate output is it ?

So what’s the difference between the 1005db and the 1550d?

Do you think it's worth the investment considering I already have my mid/hi amp already ?

How does the 5650 compare to the Kenwood DMX8019 or the DMX8020, which barring their flagship 10" unit are currently the best ones Kenwood have in terms of double din. What attracts me to the Sony is the shallow mount and the fact that you aren't having to ram the cables behind it. It'll fit nicely with the cables and there will still be breathing space.

With android auto being discontinued in favour of Google Assistant driving mode, will the android auto enabled units like the XAV-3250 still work with upcoming phones?

Android Auto will still be around. What's being discontinued is the function to use it on your phone's screen itself. So you do not need to worry about these head units.

I have a Honda civic type R GT FN2 and I have a question about the time on the dash and like a lot of cars the clock is powered and change time with the. BUTTONS on the stereo if I fit an aftermarket stereo system will I lose the lock time on dash led readouts ?Is their any way that the cars clock can be piggybacked from the aftermarket stereo system ?

I've changed to an aftermarket radio on my car. You will need a connects 2 module to get the time and climate controls to display. Climate controls work without it though. It would just be slightly inconvenient since you aren't able to see the exact aircon Temps or mode

I got the 1000 today but am afraid to open the box in case it's not compatible with an android phone, can anybody advise? Pretty much all I want is to connect via blue tooth, maybe watch you tube. Is this possible?

Bought an AX150, can’t really see any differences to the AX3250. I got it though because the 3250 isn’t on Sonys website anymore. But man…I just want the damn Android auto on my AX1000, I just absolutely endear the volume knob

XAV-AX5650 Vs the new Alpine iLX-W690D. The alpine has zero reviews or retail price. Would be interesting to see, I'm leaning towards the Sony though.

What about XAV-AX150?
