Neckband wins in pretty much every area (except sadly popularity). My ears are hopeless for keeping earbuds in and I'd lose a TW in no time. Plus way less hassle.

Like you've mentioned, many (like me) prefer this style of earphones as it feels more secure unlike the earpod type ones. My RHA MA650 has been going strong for a year now. Sweat and splash resistant. Natural sounding, so you bass heads go cling to your Beats. Oh... and it's made in the UK. How rare is that these days. I used to run with them but now use bone conducting sets due to safety concerns. That said, I've done 20K runs with mine and the sweat didn't kill it,nor did the light rain. They're still good for treadmill workouts and general everyday commute to work.

This is the first neck and earphones I have seen with a headphone jack. With the noise cancellation this has cemented my intention to buy. I like neckband headphones because they tend to have longer battery life and also is I’m on the go I don’t have to worry about the carrying case for earbuds

From a safety perspective you should never have noise cancellation turned on in processing plants/factories. Ambient is preferred.

Hi Adam. Nice review :-) I am using SENNHEISER MOMENTUM In-Ear Wireless neckband headphones from last one year. After purchasing it, I realised that noise cancellation is missing from it. My main purpose of headphones is to attain office meetings when I am working in noise environment. Unfortunately I get main complains from my colleagues that they can hear lot of background noise. I want to check how Sony WI-1000XM2 noise cancellation in such situations?

If your phone doesn't have 3.5 mm jack anymore :( R. I. P HEADPHONE JACKS. Can you then still use Usb-C to USB-c and listen to music with cable if this sony wi-1000 runs out of battery? Is that USB-c port only for charging battery or is it out an output for sound? Do you understand what I mean?

Hi adam :) I’m having some problems with WI-1000xm2 neckbands😢.Apparently the bluetooth pairing work is not being activated although I’m following the steps for turning the pairing mode on. no. i own these headphones and the magnetic clasp does not control the unit. i was dissapointed with this.

9:50 I could’ve hit thumbs-up and like here but to do so would undo the thumbs-up and like from before. You had me at the Thundercats reference and sealed the deal with another thing you said. 3.5mm will always be great!

This style is best for me as a construction worker always having something to block noise available all the time. Some bosses mind but I’ve proven around work I use them for quick earplugs currently use the lg hbs xl7 work great just wish for noise canceling. But I’ll try the Bose out just don’t like I can hid the cable easy when I don’t want them in the way and the controls adding weight to the ear but I can see it being Easter to use the controls

Hi, I have the xm2 and ride bicycle - sadly wind noise is really loud, so i rather turn off the anc then. When it's cold outside and you wear a cap or hood with you ears covered: they work really good.

What do you like more ? Wi1000xm2 or wh xb900n ? Please help me.

neckbands are comfy, and battery lasts super long. my fav style of listening in the office/outdoor.

Yes exactly. You can use a wired connection to listen to music when the battery on your headphones die

how about the call quality.. while in outdoors.. or riding

I had the first version to this which finally broke due do to natural degradation after 2 long years of service. I'm looking at these models next but the problem is my primary vehicle is a motorcycle and if the microphone is on the controls like that and a phone call nobody will be able to hear me inside the helmet In opposed to the headphone earbuds themselves being the microphones back on the Gen 1.

Do you feel like they’ll slip off if you’re leaning backwards? Some ab exercises require it. Or would it be a nuisance doing bench press? Or are they snug enough they don’t really slip back?

Neckbands are superior, i don't dislike true wireless at all, its the "where the fuck is my other earbud!!!" Problem I encounter too frequently and when they magnetically attach like these it's less a problem

No matter how hard I try to connect them it don't work

This has no competitor. Light weight In ear Airline compatible Top tier ANC USB C Can wear under ear muffs for extra isolation I would take these over an over ear headphone for travel.

I'm used to Sony having great quality sound crisp deep bass but the lack of battery life even at max 10/9hrs this is a fail My" HUAWEI FREELACE PRO" have equal sound quality to other SONY BUDS & with 24hours regular playback time with 19hour on noise-cancelling mode With a built-in USB C plug made for on the go charging from a android phone etc..which never needed with the extra bat..life Dual connectivity at the double press of a button between it's a clean transmission between a aray of devices, The advantage point the "SONY's still have is 3.5 jack feature the inflight connector 9/10 hr is the deal-breaker here for me

Does anyone know why they randomly disconnect everyday and won't reconnect until I do a factory reset, uninstall the app, unpair and wait 10 hours? Then, while fully charged, within a meter of my LGG6 phone and listening to music they suddenly disconnect and i have to repeat the painful process? I'm reaching out because after five attempts to contact Sony and no response I'm hoping the wonderful people of the internet can help. As it stands don't buy these.

All i care is the nc and i zoned out completely because of all the unnecessary extra.
