Yes and No, no cause there is still some lag like all wireless are.

Hi Kevin, are You recommend this headphones for bicycle riding? I'm wonder about wind noise during ride... I already tested WF-1000XM3 what I purchased last year for My wife and in my opinion for bicycle activity is miss-shot ... wind noise is too annoing ... impossible to used in my opinion... so what about this model...? Thanks for sharing Your impressions!

Good review! What's about the built-in microphone(s) in XM2? Have Sony changed anything about it? I own M1 and for me the worst thing about WI-1000X was these mics built-in into earplugs itself. Whenever you have a call and you have both earplugs in your ears the caller can't hear you well or hears you distant. So each time you have a call you have to keep one earplug attached to your collar or keep with your hand in front of your mouth. This was a very frustrating experience given the price of this headsets' predcessor.

Hi, I have a question. I am using SENNHEISER MOMENTUM In-Ear Wireless neckband headphones from last one year. After purchasing it, I realised that noise cancellation is missing from it. My main purpose of headphones is to attain office meetings when I am working in noise environment. Unfortunately I get main complains from my colleagues that they can hear lot of background noise. I want to check how Sony WI-1000XM2 noise cancellation in such situations?

What you need is a headphone with a boom mic to reduce background noise, most earbuds mic are nearer to ears than mouth. You need the mic to be nearer to mouth for quiter background, consider the Ausdom headphone I review recently.

Great review! I have this headphone for a couple weeks but just learned now from your review how capable this headphone is. Sound quality is exceptional as you describe. But i have issue with connecting between my iphone to my android tablet and vice versa. I know it doesnt support simultaneous multi device connectivity but there is no physical key function to turn bluetooth on and off. My xiaomi bluetooth headphone has this function and really useful to turn bluetooth on and off in between devices without needing to go to phone bluetooth setting. But sony doesnt have this function and its a pain in the ass to connect between these two devices. Moreover my android tablet probably doesnt have NFC so need to manually pair/unpair every time i connect it. I gave up and now i only connect to iphone alone. Still cant get over the face that why Sony didnt include simple bluethooth on and off switch button function. And the headphone app is not accurate. It doesnt allow to change c function to the option i want. Just my experience using it but happy with sound quality.

Can I sleep on my side with these. I have Bose QC 30 which I can but they have fallen apart. Tried M&D MW07 Plus which were great except hurt my ears when slide sleeping and could not sleep.

Just got them and I think they’re almost perfect but the instruments are quite loud and it sounds a bit high-pitched.

Bits Tribe At least wired. But I think they should sound fine even wired. On Bluetooth, they don’t have that problem as much but the audio isn’t quite as crisp.

How does this compare with WI1000X/B?

Better than my PXC 550 by a shit ton. WHen i walk around the halls at school, it cancelled all their voices to be inaudible and to a hiss.

Should have covered the wired sound performance as well. I know nobody is buying expensive Bluetooth earphones for their wired performance but it is one of the unique features of this product and one that is personally very appealing to me as I'm not the biggest fan of sealed li-ion battery products... They die within 2 years and then you've to throw out the whole thing.

hmmm maybe that is why my wi-1000x died just yesterday. it started with no able to power ON and now its not even able to charge. but I still prefer a neckband and wi-1000x has dual purpose for in-flight use too.

Plugged into my astro a40 amp, was ALOT LOUDER but sounded the same. I am using TIDAL at its HIFI stage. DSEE actually helps.
