I've been looking for a smaller QC35 replacement and kept looking at these for their supposed equal audio to the 1000mx2 and noise reduction on the microphone. How about a review after use for a number of months.. I want to see if people are experiencing the same problems. I had to send my WI1000X after two months because they would not power up. Before that I had to send back my MDREX750BT/B which failed twice for the same reason.

the main downside for me is the cable, not a proper length. have the 1000x and i want to get one new BTNC, bose QC35 II dont have aptx, soo.. 1000xm2 then..

I cannot wear headphones at all (tried QC35 for a while and my ears get hot and sweaty). If I wanted a NC in-ear earphones with long battery life, are these the best option?

I can confirm - I lisened to some songs with hi-hats and its not good, expected more for this price

Damn I was going to buy this neck earphones, because the nice ambient/NC and good sound quality, but after your comments seems to be not so good sound.... maybe i'll just go for the iconX 2018. I need it for cancelling high pitch noises while im working but being able to activate ambient sound when someone talks to me and be discrete at the same time. I'd buy the m2 but they are far from discrete. What would you recommend? Thanks for the review

@@dirtyasianmafia2310 I bought the bose qc35 for 300. They were lighter and very comfortable sound quality was good but volume was sacrificed I think to get longer bat. life a key selling point. However the build quality was very bad they were still working but falling apart. And held together with tape. So I traded them in on warranty after about 6 months. I have the wi1000x now and I believe they sound better especially when using aptX and aptX hd and mutch louder and seem to be built tougher

+Rea Pered yeah. But the cable transfers a lot of sound when rubbed against fabric. I was going to mention that in the video but I decided to cut it out.

I practically bought a new pair(refurb) off Amazon still in the box nothing was opened and everything was immaculate for $125... The updated firmware has these in ear headsets working great, they sound better than my Sony Hear on 2.

Shane Graceson the thing is , the form factor is the key , i much prefer in ear anc phones than headphones for on the go since where i live if u use headphones they’ll stare at u like a moron

Sarky Ho I think so. The main reason i purchase wi 1000x, is because i frequently take on and off my sunglasses during outdoor activity, and i need to wear spectacles during using laptop. Due to small ear piece, i am wearing it right now, while laying to the side, and listening to music, and also writing this comment.

No. You'll notice a slight positive difference with glasses off however nonetheless they're still comfortable when you're wearing glasses

How is the mic for calls?

So the microphone is not good on both? No improvement. That’s not good.

Couple of questions: - What is the IPX rating? - How do they stand cold? - How flexible is the neck band? Would they fit in the pocket of your jacket?

Anders Bjørnholmen Øvensen it has no ipx rating, the spec does not mentioned its operating temperature, it can only bend a little. So, you cant kept it in your jacket.

It should be foldable and waterproof for $300.

You used them with an iPhone, that's why they didn't sound great. Use them with a device that supports LDAC bluetooth codec.

Regardless of which device you use the source has to be of high quality to make use of the communications protocol you're sending it through. Meaning he's most likely streaming music or using 320K mp3 files which doesn't make any difference for LDAC.
