Sony NP-FW50 Camera Battery Hack
If your camera takes an NP-FW50 battery, this hack will probably work to power it. The dummy power supply I got off ebay.. The 12v power bank model I refer to is YB1206000-USB. Although any 8v to 36v power supply should work with this step-down transformer to power one of the many Sony cameras that take the NP-FW50 battery. I don't know everything about batteries and cameras so consult a professional before attempting. www.pololu.com/product/2860

0:40 "buck converter", not transformer. Also, this is a really cool idea. Great job!
Awesome hack out there! I have the same Fluke True RMS multimeter in the office, that thing is built like a tank. Haha. I was actually looking for a shell from sony fw50 to fz100 dummy battery. I was planning to buy the genuine Sony AC-PW20 (for a6400) and convert it to the FZ100 Dummy power adapter for the Sony A6600. Sadly I couldn't find one. Awesome tutorial out there. Cheers!
I can confirm using a usb to charge and use the A6300 at the same time works fine.
you need a powerbank with a PD out put with a cetain wattage
Power bank link. Please.
