The first two don't need answers, but for that last one: The fake emerald Tails created in SA2 had the same energy output as a real chaos emerald, but lower energy capacity and a reversed polarity. The reversed polarity only comes into play when used in conjunction with a real emerald(presumably to devastating effect) and the lower capacity could be a non-factor, as Shadow uses a single emerald to chaos control multiple times without exhausting it, and the fake's power is completely used while exhausting Sonic to make up the difference. Yes, you can scream "NERD" at me now if you wish...

I think segascourge's theory is the one that makes more sense he stated that the earth's atmosphere in sonic is 2x the size of ours that would explain why sonic and friends jump so high fly and would even explain the big size of the animals (well it would explain charmy the bee i dont know if it would explain the others ) And one last thing in sonic game canon the world is not mobius Archie/SatAm and the games are not in the same universe

I love how you put lore and magic with your videos, makes feel like you respect the series and franchise as a whole. I love your videos probably more than any other theorist out there. Keep making those awesome videos!

There's a force in the extended lore called "Chaos energy" it's the energy that the Master Emerald and Chaos Emeralds rely on, thus it's always been my thought process that the Echidnas of Sonic world, being the ones who guard and watch over the Master and Chaos Emeralds, were granted heightened magical abilities and are able to tap into said force at will.

According to developers, he glides by catching air under his dreads. Though they realized how it sounded, and then just said it was "Echidna magic."

It's simple, it's his 'super power' in the same way Sonic has his super speed. Probably gained via his proximity to the Master Emerald. Like a sort of proto Super Sonic flight.

This also lines up with the recent movie universe. In Sonic 2 (Before he finds the emerald) Knuckles has never been shown to glide. In the trailer for the new TV show though, He's shown to glide with Wade on his back.

I liked Shadow too, there's a ton of levels to play and the missions give you tons to do. As for the Master Emerald explanation, I think one of the comics actually gave that explanation, too. so it's very likely.

He has part of its energy in him and is linked to the master emerald, he explains that with the Pumpkin Hill line '"the great emerald's power allows me to feel", at that point the Master Emerald is indeed shattered but he still has power from it due to his link, it's probably something that was given to him as soon as he became the guardian of the Master Emerald I feel like that last bit could make for a cool theory, like if there's a ritual when you become the Master Emerald's guadian (though Tikal does seem to guard the Master Emerald without much of a ritual, she just kind of approaches it and gains its trust)

The wonky gravity can also be explained by how Sonic survives grabbing Eggman's ship and lasting until it reaches space (the Sonic 2 death egg)

I think the atmosphere might just be thicker on mobius, that would explain why you loose pretty much all your speed whenever you sustain a jump in these games

Its because his Kuckles are mini jet turbines, which is why he can smash things pretty well with them. But he cheeped out and did not get the good ones so at maximum output they can just glide.

I think it also stated in one of the games that Knuckles got his gliding from harnessing chaos energy (the magic of the emeralds), too, that's supportive evidence of that point. More evidence supporting the chaos energy theory is the Gizoid, a robot that was created by the echidna tribes, long ago. These robots were powered by chaos energy and could harness it in ordercopy and perform attacks that were just like other characters moves. The most notable gizoid is Emerl from Sonic Battle but gizoids also appeared in Sonic Chronicles and Eggman made his own version of a giziod for Sonic Advance 3. The Gizoid were even able to harness chaos energy so well and use it so such effectiveness that they are one of the reasons the echidna tribes were completely wiped out. They learned more than their creators anticipated and started a war with the echidna. Basic terminator rise of machines bullshit.

It's also possible that Tails is an early model of the infiltration-type robots that Doctor Eggman has used in the comics, and somehow is unaware of that. We do know that organic beings can be turned into infiltrators, and that in a way they can "grow" through regular maintenance similar to the idea of a robot having a self-repairing system inside, but for making it grow at a normal biological rate.

Death Egg wasn't chained down so that it wouldn't float away. Death Egg was being constructed around the Little Planet which is what was chained down. I'm guessing chaining Little Planet stops it from disappearing for the month like it's supposed to do.

In Wild Canyon, there might be some evidence that the Echidna race takes some inspiration from Egyptian culture as well.
