As an expert on all things kirby, I can give you what you're looking for. While it's unclear if kirby is actually a reincarnated Void, it's pretty darn clear that kirby is a dark matter, his copy ability is only shared by several dark matter characters. including gooey, a character who in Dreamland 3 straight up has kirby's copy ability as the player 2 of that game... yeah, let's just say there's a ton of evidence that kirby is a dark matter

I just whatched this, cause I'm watching now older Game Theory episodes that I missed in the past, and I love this format, I loved seeing Matt in ftront of the camera explaining the episode in person, not just a voice over, and I wonder why The Game Theorists didn't use this format more often in following episodes, I hope that this format comes back.

See you in another 12 years when we're still not drowning, the ice caps are still growing (NASA Study Ice Caps Expanding not shrinking, 2015) and when all those alarmists who lied and said that the science was on their side are living in their ocean front property that they are still buying (recently Obama). Can't wait for the next doomsday prediction from climate alarmists who have been doing this since at-least the 60's if not earlier, to stir up the fear mongering to try and convince people to give them power and money to solve a problem that's not actually a problem. Not that the environment shouldn't be taken care of, but ridiculous stuff like the Green New Deal would be catastrophic and would cause far more problems, even if it was realistic. Besides these alarmists ignore that the vast majority of the worlds physical pollution (like the islands of plastic in the ocean) don't come from US, it comes from China and India, but that wouldn't fit the narrative that America needs to vote these people into power because we're basically stabbing the planet and draining it's lifeforce like a Mako reactor. But they like to repeat the "2nd largest CO2 emitter!" line (conflating "Carbon emissions" and CO2 emissions which are entirely different) even tho the pseudo-science claim of CO2 actually doing great harm to the environment is full of holes especially when backed with the history of the planet and reaction of plant and animal life (CO2 is not a pollutant, Prager University, by Co-founder of Greenpeace).

@@fatcerberus Because everything that Mat had talked about was covered by Meteorz, and who is the go-to when it comes to Kirby lore. Mat wasn't exactly very accurate, and so what Meteorz covered was more thorough. No ill will or anything, but since people know more about the lore from Meteorz at the very least, I guess a lot of people pointed out Mat's inaccuracies. I'm biased though since I do Meteorz' translations from time to time though.

The thing is a lot of the information was inaccurate. Meteorz for an example, has more proven evidence backing up everything. Plus a lot of the Kirby fandom already knew the information given. (Like how Kirby being called a Pink demon)

There is basically no lore at all in the Kirby franchise. I love Kirby but there’s no reason to look at the little lore that exists and expand it, then it would just become speculation and not true facts.

I love his excitement when he said “Science is working!!” Made me think of my niece when she got a battery powered car.

Honestly, I was surprised by the Kirby theory. I had never heard of it until I got into RPG Monger, so... honestly, I’m not really angry, it got me into Kirby lore more. So thanks, dude: for not only introducing this lolbit to Kirby lore, but really getting into the science of this. :)

Actually, Kirby's ancestor is the *Destroyer of world*, not Kirby himself. He's just a wandering soul traveling the galaxy until the spring breeze bring him to dreamland and become the Kirby we know today

What physics classes teach you: increase surface area = increased drag force = increased descent time. What Game Theory teaches you: Don't give MatPat scissors.

To be honest i still wait for the second part of the kirby god theory in your style I love the way you make these theorys

Please please make a part 2. Part 1 is one of my favorite theories that you’ve done and I was really excited for it. I know you didn’t do it because of hate but there are still people out there like me who want to see the theory. If you see this please please consider making part 2

@@CalebratedTV bullshit, meteorz destroyed matpats vid without even mentioning him a showed all the cherry-picking crud matpat glossed over in the first kirby vid the truth is matpat realized his mistakes and made a sensible decision, and that was to stop making up crap about the morality of a fictional game character.

I love getting ready for school, eating breakfast, and watching these videos while I do.

I would have loved to see the second half :( I totally believed that theory

If the air has helium in it then it has the same density as the surrounding air, so no buoyant force

Honestly I would be so much more excited to learn about math and science if teachers taught us the way you do. I've been using your science videos to keep myself educated during the pandemic and I'm excited to dig deeper in your videos and learn more. It's crazy how the style you teach in can effect how much the students learn/remember

I love this episode because we see mat pat a lot

I'm skeptical that the drag is enough to explain the size of this effect to be honest. My own personal theory is that Kirby is filled with the fires of hell, which makes the air warm up and expand.

Honestly, I think that because Kirby is some sort of single cellular organism, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch that when he inhales, he could filter out heavier elements of air through his surface. It probably wouldn't be perfect, and this drag theory probably has a part in it, but we could imagine that it gives him a decent boost in his bouyancy, enough so that just flapping his nubblets results in just barely rising. This theory also explains how Dedede, a much heavier and denser character, of seemingly somewhat similar biology to Kirby, can fly almost as well.

I think Kirby has the ability to separate the nitrogen from the oxygen as he sucks in air. The earth's atmosphere is composed of 78% nitrogen and its lighter then air. If he fills himself up with nitrogen it should provide some good lift.
