The original is called Planet Wisp Act 1, the song used in the trailer is a remixed version. The original is a more calmer version of this song if you ask me. :)

I'm honestly excited to come back to this game. I loved it back in the day, and while it is rather short, it's still one of the best 3-D Sonics; fun enough to warrant replaying all the stages to get max ranks atleast. On that note: the metal sonic mode looks fun and should add even more replayability.

congrats! It's by far the best original modern sonic game imo. Gameplay is fun and mostly consistent (the QOL improvements, like Tails, should bridge the bottomless gap), the OST is back to back club BANGERS, and the mood is more lighthearted saturday morning cartoon with a few legit laughs in there instead of weird edgy nonsense. You're gonna have a ball.

I can't imagine you'd want to ride the rides there. Things like Bake me Crazy, the ride that simulates what it's like to be baked like a cake.

As a Sonic Colors fanboy, I recommend anyone that hasn't tried this game to play it, and use the original soundtrack. It's a fun experience, and the music is what makes this game so memorable for me.

@Unstoppable Plays! apparently no The processor is a bit better. On the website, some people saw the characteristics, and they are a little bit better. Enough to run a game at 30 fps without any drops, and to run a game on a tv screen in 1080p instead of 720. The OLED is also better visually in terms of colours. Since theses are individual LEDs, they can turn on and off, making real black instead of a shade of grey. So it looks better. Not that much, but enough to see the difference

@@leepickek7923 If you compare this trailer on Nintendo and any of the pther platforms, they mention it runs at 60FPS on those, but removed that on this trailer. You can guess why

@@raptorzeraora2632 plus, the original game on the Wii ran at 30fps and played just fine. Imo, 60fps is overrated. It's really good, but people made it overrated.

@@paperluigi6132 As someone who always prefers his games in 60fps, I agree. 60fps is wonderful, but that doesn't make 30fps bad. It's incredible to me how people have made 30fps a dirty word, even though it's an industry standard to aim for 30fps, and achieve 60fps when possible. Anyone saying 30fps isn't acceptable needs to bring their standards down, because they're too high.

Everything about this is beautiful-

This game was my childhood, I am happy they are porting it on the switch

Just started playing yesterday and it's fun since it's my first time playing the game on a console

I'm really hyped for this. I loved the extra features the graphics and all the improvements they're adding to this game. A sonic game well deserved.👏

Everyone who says this game looks worse than the original isn’t taking into account that the 4K 60fps upscaled Dolphin version isn’t what the game actually looks like on original hardware. This IS a significant improvement

@@samueld8413 I don’t think it looks bad just weird especially compared to the original. Textures look fine and I think some of the environments look better but the lighting on a lot of things just doesn’t look right. But I can see why you like it.

I still am shocked to see this game coming back better than ever. This is my favorite game of all time.

This game was so good as a kid, can’t wait to play it again on switch

Heh, I've watched this trailer so many times already (about 7 times altogether, including the original on Sonic's YT), just because I can't get over how awesome, outstanding, and amazing this remaster looks! I haven't pre-ordered it yet, but I'm definitely excited to play this great game once more, especially on newer hardware!

I played this game before I mostly like the music it’s life changing

I’m really interested in the customizable gear. Can’t wait to deck out Sonic with cool stuff.
