The paternal grandmother is the second mother of Dimash, in the Kazakh tradition, the grandparents also educate the eldest of the children. Hi yes those are both sets of Grandparents, the Gentleman and lady to his left are his Father's parents who help to raise Dimash and you may have seen Grandma at the SOS gala where she came onto the stage with him, this was Dubai this year. The lady to the right is his Grandmother on his Mum's side. His Father is Kanat and his Mother Sveta (Svetlana). The other people in the same row are mostly Aunts or Cousins. He has a beautiful sister Raushan who can also sing but is training to become a Doctor. There are performances of Dimash singing with his sister, the song All by Myself. His brother Mansur can play multi instruments and is still training to do this, he's a teenager. He only learned when he was 12 years old that these are not his parents, but his grandparents. Until he was 12, he thought his parents were his brother and sister-in-law. Dimash's parent. 👍 Mothers name is Svetlana Aitbayeva, and fathers name is Kanat Aitbayev. Female last name ends with A. When Dimash was a teenager he was a fan of football, basketball, biking, taekwondo and started swimming since he was 14 years. 👍 Love from Norway 🇳🇴

His parents are famous honoured artists of Kazakhstan. Svetlana (Mother) is soprano and Kanat (father) is singer and music producer. Yes, the elderly peoples are his grandparents.

Dimash didn’t know his parents were his parents until the age of 8, as in Kazakh tradition he was raised by his paternal grandparents, so he thought his grandparents were his parents and his parents were his aunt and uncle. That is why he is so close to his grandparents. In fact it was his paternal grandmother who was instrumental in making sure he got a musical education at music school. They all still live in the same house in Kazakhstan, Dimash, his parents and his grandparents. There are documentaries on KZread. Dimash, his parents and his grandparents all hold the highest awards in their country as honoured workers of Kazakhstan. Dimash’s mother is/was? a soprano with the Astana Opera House (Dimash was also offered a place as a tenor, but turned it down to go his own way) and his dad is a pop singer/famous Eurasian music producer.

You have to see his performance of AIDI- DAIDIDAU from his first solo performance - it's stunning and it's Khazak traditional - when he starts to sing, his ear monitors fail and although he tried to signal his crew, he completed that song in a stadium of over 30,000 people without any music back- up and again, wait, wait, waits - that's his grandparents in the first row -

En la cultura kazaja la abuela paterna cría y educa al primer nieto, en este caso Dimash, toda la familia vive en la misma casa pero la abuela es quién educa al nieto. Por eso Dimash siempre muestra ese amor y respeto por sus mayores. Es un video muy tierno donde la familia disfruta del arte de la música. La mamá Svetlana es soprano si no me equivoco. Na frente onde ele reverência são os avós paternos e maternos.. no kazaquistao os avós ficam encarregados de criar o primeiro neto, embora todos da família moram juntos, outro costume cazaque, foi a avó de Dimash que encaminhou e acompanhou desde a infância todo desenvolvimento musical. Dimash teu também apresentação cantando com a irmã mais nova , mais não segue o caminho artístico, estuda medicina, e o irmão mais novo já está dando os primeiros passos em relação a música, embora seja multi instrumentista , seguindo os passos de Dimash.
