How many diverse cultures live in these other European countries and how many different languages are spoken? The US has citizens who have come here from all over the world, only the UK can say that and they have the same problems we do. Only difference is, our population is over 350 million people! Free healthcare? Who the hell is going to pay for that? That’s total socialism, not a free enterprise system!

Another bit of pub lore for you. She is doing what is called a Pub crawl. But only a light one. This is where yourself & a group of friends will go to pub, after pub, after pub, to get as wasted as possible. It's a good way to celebrate or just have a crazy night out. The cheers thing. That's rare & generally saved for a celebration like a birthday, a promotion, something to for high spirits. But buying a round IS a big thing. It brings a team/group of friends even tighter together. Sharing shows the group that we are a group

You may want to look up 'Wetherspoons'... It is a chain of pubs througjout the UK. They are the 'McDonalds' of pubs - all over the place, cheaper drinks, serving all types of food and even have 'bottomless' cups of tea, coffee and hot chocolate for less than £2 !!! 😂😂😂

Posh pubs in posh districts. Not typical and very expensive. Also, serving full meals is not typical either.

Pubs are a fantastic place to meet locals, and people watch. You can get an idea of the area you are in, from the pub. I can't drink cider, or apple juice. I drank too much as a teenager, and it makes me feel sick. Not all pubs will have great food. Especially, if you're not drinking

Great reaction, my man! Yes, obviously the mix was done for a reason. I feel like most of the criticism comes from people new to the song, trying to hear the lyrics. I found that the more you listen to it, and the more you know the lyrics, the more it sounds perfectly fine. You even "hear" the lyrics much more clearly when you already know what they are. And not every piece of art is meant to be fully appreciated immediately, so that's fine. It's a grower, not a shower.

You look like you are suffering mate Is it hayfever or just the heat? Take care. About pubs, the variety of different types makes it an adventure when trying new ones. From really scary ones (ie, the moment you walk in, you sense something is about to kick off, hasty dignified retreat), to ones filled with posh prats, whose only line of chat is to discuss their new Range Rover etc. About tipping, this is outside London, at a unfamiliar pub, if I kinda like it I will not tip on 1st drink. After that it is beneficial, cos you will attract attention from bar staff to get prority service. In London I would not offer a barperson a drink option, God knows how their 'drink' costs. Just tip a couple of quid at most. Still very optional though.

Dragons and castles go together!!! - castles underground??? It shows how bad the American education system really is, for they're told nothing outside of the US borders, and evrything they talk about is equated with Hollywood films, Disney cartoons and film stars, Somebody needs to tell these people that "dragons" (meaning prehistoric dinosaurs) disappeared long before castles appeared; and who ever heard of underground castles? What a fictional and fanciful world you live in! Time for Americans to start reading, and reading history, instead of "Living the Dream!" Wake up America and get real.

It's nice to enjoy material things, but just like you said, when I go into nature I just feel at peace, and I realize how much I don't need anything else. The best pubs don’t do food, and don’t encourage children, it makes for an adult safe place where you can relax I’d suggest you try drinks that locals drink maybe a cask ale just to try something different. Chat to people join if it seems okay to those receptive around you you may get involved with some banter.
