Since you asked for different artists, It’s hard to believe you haven’t reacted yet to Angelina Jordan, Diana Ankudinova, Marcelito Pomoy or Morissette. They are amazing young singers (Marcelito not that young, but sill) to mention some. As groups I love “forestella” his song “Je Suis Malade” is one of my favourite ones, and Pentatonix is another very famous group! ❤ from Spain 🇪🇸

Yes, some of these "Reactors" do a real disservice to the artist they react to, as well as themselves. Sometimes it seems like people are just out for subs and likes, unaware of how a PC works or that ANYTHING can be found on the internet. I've often sent posts to reactors with links to websites on how to pronounce a word. Most of them don't know how CC works or how to use auto-translate. I would be embarrassed to show my face to thousands of people without ANY preparation. Its mind boggling that folks have access to the collective knowledge of mankind, but just choose to ignore it. -end of rant-👍

@@tammyknoll1496 well as a polish guy whos english is not first language, i never understand fus about pronounciation. for me every english word is pronounced different way so i dont care if reactor dont know how to pronounce Dimash or title of the performance. But when i see he is not even using CC and guessing what this song is about i give dislike and close the window. I saw reactots who watched Daybreak without CC claiming this song is "so happy"

Totally agree. It is astonishing how many people have no clue who Placido Domingo is🤦

Jose Carreras is 77 years old and living in Spain, Placido Domingo just turned 83 and Luciano Pavarotti died in 2007 at age 72.

His old old stuff is a joy too. My Beauty can not be missed. His father wrote it for his mother and Dimash composed it. Those are his college buddies and the girl in the multicolor dress was his gf who he is back with now. I think. It is very cute, and you can see glimpses of the singer he would become. What an honor for our beloved Dimash and a great joy for Maestro Domingo…. And I was bathed in tears of joy. I'm sooo happy. Dimash was asked to participate as a judge in the Young Classical Musicians Competition... and then... he gifted us Dears with this wonderful jewel. Dimash learned this song the day before, & they only had one rehearsal, but then again, Dimash can do it all. Placido was head juror of the Virtuosos competion for the classics for young people. He invited Dimash to be on the jury as well. Placido JR. was also a juror....left side, next to singer in red dress. Another juoror is cellist, Hauser.

Well, Dimash is here a Tenor, you should listen to him as a Baritone, on his own Masterpiece EL AMOR EN TI (The Love in you). Meaningful lyrics, btw....

Many bel canto teachers have verified that Dimash brings a cross interpretation between rigid classical singing (which must follow norms and exactly as the author of the piece wrote, from the notes and durations, the portamentos, the expressiveness... Everything) and much more popular flexibility. For purists, let's remember that Dimash had the dream of singing with Plácido Domingos since he was a child and it was the Maestro himself, Don Domingos, who suggested the duet (he knew that even with classical training, Dimash would sing as a cross between classical and pop )! Dimash only had one day to remember the work and make the recording, as this moment is part of the competition (like a talent show) for children with musical talent: The “Virtuosos”! Dimash, as well as Placido Domingos, were part of the Jury, accompanied by Erika Miklósa (opera singer), Adrás Keller (violinist, conductor and musical director of the Budapest Concert), Hauser (cellist), Plácido Domingos Jr. (singer and composer), Pablo Sanz Villegas (classical guitarist), Gabriela Rachid (cultural director) and Harvey Goldsmith (music promoter)! The show was in Budapest (Hungary) from January 16th to 26th this year, 2024!

Placido Domingo, born Jan. 21, 1941 and Dimash, born May 24, 1994 singing this classic duet on December 10, 2023. So there's 53 years between them, let that sink in for a moment. Placido's voice is still wonderful at age 82 in this clip. Maestro Placido Domingo was of course 1 of the Three Tenors (with Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras). It's excellent.

This is a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that at the age of 5, he had a VHS of a concert by Maestro Domingo and he dreamed of meeting and working with him. I am sure Dimash appreciated the opportunity to support young classical artists at the invitation of Maestro Domingo. We hope that all Dimash's dreams come true and we will be here to support him on his journey.

I can totally understand how this would be the fulfillment of his dreams.

Pavarotti has passed away, Jose Carreras announced his retirement this year and Placido Domingo is mostly now working as a conductor because as he said to Dimash when he asked him to do the duet he no longer has the range for the tenor roles. This was like a metaphorical passing of the torch between the generations and he couldn't have found better hands to place it than Dimash who lives and breaths music.
